who all started wrong?
This isn't a "slam noobs" thread or anything. I am just curious. The cycle I am on now is FAR from my first. It might as well be my first though because an injury put me out of training for YEARS. It sucked I was actually at risk of being permanently disabled, until an amazing surgeon gave me my life back. Now, while I'm no pro/vet, I understand basics.
However, back when I was a "green horn" I made the same mistakes I hear the knowledgeable members warning the "new guys" about. I was one of the idiots (YEARS AGO) that took the plunge LONG before I had any business doing so. I had no idea what PCT, AI's, ect was.
My question, which can be answered as easily as "me" or "not me" is - who all learned the hard way? Who all jumped in young, dumb, and before they had any idea the risks they were putting themselves in?
Please don't misunderstand. I am NOW a firm believer in "educate before you medicate" and actually REFUSE to give friends advice when they tell me they're too lazy to do their own research. I flat tell them - "you're not smart enough for gear and I won't help you hurt yourself". But I know I am not the only one who made the Nooby plunge before I should have. Whoelse?

My only mistake first cycle was running adex along side nolva and clomid for pct. I didn't know adex interfered with nolva. I researched for the better part of a decade before going ahead with a cycle. Your health should always be important, no research or lack of research is the reason for many horror stories.

Did anyone start right. When I started in the 80's, we didn't have this fancy web thing so it was hard to know wtf you were doing.

I didn't use an AI for my first two cycles and started way too young. Got gyno twice and have had two surgeries, one on the right side and then a bi-lateral a couple years later.

started with a test/tren /adrol cycle at 21. Followed all the steps but its was too soon and overkill for a first cycle

Yeah I recovered alright. I handled the tren pretty well, possibly due to my age...Blood work came back alright, my cholesterol was high

Stuff's no joke man, I'm just glad I didn't mess myself up too badly. I didn't find this site until later on down the road, and hardly any other site warns about the risks of cycling at a young age

How do you think we know what a nov should and shouldn't do? Usually because we learned the hard way. As mentioned already by others, there was no internet when I started. Not many books on the subject either.

I was in the same boat. No one ever talked about needing or using any Ai's or PCT etc.. I was in my thirty's and don't remember any down time post cycle. I just kept on cycling and it was what it was. My only problems arose with some Gyno and when I got older it began to show up.
Now I know a better and safer way. ...crazy mike

I too started back in the early 80s.There were no AIs and we used low dosed test and Dbol .Never had a problem and put on plenty of size that we kept.

I wish I had blood test done before starting , to keep it for comparison..
That was my 1st mistake,
And doing a test e , deca (200 mg a week ) for a month cuz my coach was a dumb ass and suggested this cycle.
That would be my second mistake.

We all make mistakes. Shit happens.
All the guys who've made mistakes, have you guys recovered completely from the mistake? Has the mistake cost you dearly?
Appreciate any tips you guys can offer for someone who is about to begin cycling.
Cheers.

I did all the research and did a 12 week test enanthate cycle followed by hcg and then a month of clomid and nolva. o did everything right EXEPT.... I was told to only use nolva on cycle if I got itchy nipples. well they never itched but I must o had some sort of gyno flare up that only showed up later. nowadays always run an AI on cycle! gyno and letro are no fun!!!!!
