    Anavar

I am not sure if this post belongs here, so if it needs to move, just let me know.

I am currently on TRT 100mg week
    Protocol: 50mg x2 3.5 days. 100mg zinc, 4mg copper and DIM

The reason I am probably on TRT is because I did a cycle of deca and Winny back when I was 24. I don't think I PCT correctly or any of it for that matter. No bloods done during, diet was decent. Def gained muscle but probably threw my HPTA out since then. I was at 41e2 and 350 TT before starting 6 weeks ago

Well, I have been researching Anavar and like the mild effects in the body as well as the fat burning properties. I'm currently about 20% BF but work out daily and diet is pretty good. I currently eat to TDEE and have transformed body comp but weight stays relatively the same.

Question is, would this compound effect me negatively if I took say 4 weeks with my TRT protocol? Would I need a PCT? Or would I just discontinue the A since I'm on TRT anyway? Is this the right compound to take with TRT or is there a better one with better synergy?
Any feedback would be cool to go along with the research I've been doing.
    Thanks

    Too soon for additions.
Get dialed in with your TRT first. TRT in and of itself with a good nutrition/training program will do wonders for you all by itself.
Have you even had follow-up BW done?
You may feel a difference with anavar but at your current BF level you won't see anything and would basically be a waste of money. Wait till your BF% is lower.
Don't judge yourself by the scale. With your hormones getting dialed in and training/eating well you will put on muscle while losing fat, therefore the scale may not change all that much. Muscle is heavier than fat.

Would it effect you negatively? No, just not really positively either. If you take this be sure to use NAC as well for liver support.
    PCT never required on TRT.

I'm curious if your doctor considered a re-start attempt? What were your LH/FSH levels pre-TRT?

Problem is he never checked my LH/FSH pre TRT

I had them test it 2-3 weeks after I started while on HCG . The levels were basically undetectable had the > sign. I don't have the lab in front of me right now. But, it seems TRT wouldn't shut me down that quick, would it? So I'm thinking I'm primary hypo.

My 4 week BW came back at e2 33 down from 41
    TT 630 up from 350
    FT 20
    PSA .9 up from .8

That's a shame LH/FSH we're never checked. You know with the correct doc a re-start is always possible! If younger I'd consider it.
Had them test LH/FSH while on TRT and HCG ? If so, yes it will zero out your readings. It doesn't take long or much T to shut you down. 100mg can do it.
Even HCG singularly will eventually suppress your endogenous LH production via the negative feedback loop. Your pituitary senses it doesn't need to produce it (LH) due to the injected analogue so it slows/stops.

Just re-read your first post. No mention of HCG. This quote from you: "I had them test it 2-3 weeks after I started while on HCG." Are you referring to an HCG stim test?

I forgot to mention the HCG in the initial post if my protocol. But I am on .500 once weekly

I am 34, so I'm not too young. I suspect the one cycle I did when I was 24 is what did my HPTA in. I did a deca /winny stack. Did not PCT correctly at all, as I was young and dumb basically.

Thought about a re-boot, but not sure my doc would know or try. You think 34 is too young for TRT? The first 4 weeks I was on 200mg week then dropped it to 100mg weekly x2 50mg shots

My body felt great and fantastic libido and body quit having those aches and pains. Now the last two weeks since lowering dose, my libido isn't as live and I def feels the aches and pains.

So I guess your original statement rings loud and clear to me now about dialing it in before anything else. But truly not sure if I an primary or secondary. Just assume the stack set me down this path 10 years ago and never really got it back, hence me thinking primary. Had my thyroid labs done and everything came back good except for low D which I'm supp'ing.

Thoughts on TRT strategy or re-boot due to age?

Personally I'd try a SERM re-start at your age. You may have plenty of good, natural test producing years left in you. But I'd suggest a new doc to help if this one won't. Thing is you never found the cause for your low T. It would drive me nuts not knowing.

To young for TRT? No, no one is to young as long as it's warranted. Problem is to many docs don't take the time to find the root cause and possible correct it. They just immediately implement TRT which is basically a long term band aid. Remember doc's are not really trained in hormones therapy in med school.

When it comes to your libido waning a bit, it's normal. Your body suddenly responds to what equates to a massive amount of test that it's not used to. It subsequently settles down. We can't walk around 24-7 with wood, unfortunately.

Split your HCG to 250iu's X 2 per week. Even HCG has a half life. Consistency is key.
