I think this is a personal choice. I don't even know how/what else to say about it.

I don't see why baby would be unhealthy. But I hope you and your boyfriend stop cycling for now and focus on priorities. ,
Good luck.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

I'm with Austin all the way. Most probably if you're had one before (and I'm not asking) you would know you might regret getting an abortion again. That would be sad IMHOP.
Hang in and have beautiful babies good love and good luck ...crazy mike

There are many things that cause birth defects. Steroids have not got a reputation for this. I grew up with Thalidamide children. They had no arms, just fingers at the shoulders. Thalidamide was used to stop morning sickness and was proven safe!!!! I am 58, never heard of steroid defects due to fairly mild steroids Taken early in pregnancy.
I am saying the chances are you will have healthy children! Love them!
Good Luck, John

Sound like you started 3 weeks after you conceived. I can't tell you what to do. I am NOT a medical doctor. This does seem like a highly personal matter and I also realize you are desperate for someone to tell you if there is something wrong with the fetus. I see you posted this thread in several forums. NO ONE HERE can tell you the answer you seek and I highly recommend you see a doctor and let them know you are concerned about fetal birth defects. There is a chance there is nothing wrong with the babies. You did the right thing by stopping immediately!

i would think that the risk is rather low. just see your obgyn regularly for scans and followups. the 12wk and 20wk scans are most important.

I would think you'll be just fine.

I wouldn't just throw up my hands and say "abortion" on twins or any child for that matter under these circumstances you have listed above.

Going along with others, at my age (they got tired of me saying) I have never ever heard of birth defects from steroids . And I've heard a lot of controversy with birth defects having three babies with my wife. Now my two daughters having my grand kids , safely. Hell my one daughter smoke and drinks, but abstained while the pregnancy. I that's not what you're getting, however I've been around and I also think your cool G2G !
Please don't even mention abortion, I am very close to someone who had one some years ago and I'm here, yes a man telling you it will haunt you for the rest of you days. ...crazy mikeLast edited by crazy mike; 10-19-2013 at 06:57 PM.

lets be neutral regarding this issue. its her decision. but i think the risk of fetal abnormalities is quite low.

I think you should just be totally honest with your doctor and get your answers straight from the horses mouth. We can only speculate on here, but your doc could put you at ease one way or another for whatever decision you want to make. Good luck.

Either way, it tears me up to see someone abort a baby. I hope you get your life in order.

Clenbuterol is classified as an FDA category C drug, and it's a beta 2 agonist, not a steroid . The pregnancy category means:
Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.
This basically means they are not sure whether it causes problems or not.
Anavar is unfortunately in FDA Category X, and that means:
Studies in animals or humans have demonstrated fetal abnormalities and/or there is positive evidence of human fetal risk based on adverse reaction data from investigational or marketing experience, and the risks involved in use of the drug in pregnant women clearly outweigh potential benefits.
Further, I found this warning: Oxandrolone has been assigned to pregnancy category X by the FDA. Anabolic steroid use , particularly during the first trimester of pregnancy, may cause virilization of the external genitalia of the female fetus. Reversible oligospermia may occur after prolonged administration or excessive dosage in male patients. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Oxandrolone use is considered contraindicated during pregnancy.
Sorry to have to deliver this news, but I do think it's better to know now and make your decision. All the best to you.
