    HGH and diabetes

    HGH and diabetes

    Hi Guys,

Im thinking of doing HGH for about 6 months but have been reading that it is linked to diabetes. My goal in doing HGH isnt to stay on it for a long time, but to repair some of my ulcers (in my colon).

Can anyone please let me know at what dosages and or duration causes diabetes?... or does it not cause it?

    thanks

    It won't actually cause diabetes.
High doses of GH (generally above 6-8 IUs daily) will increase insulin resistance, making it pretty much necessary to use slin alongside it to avoid hyperglycemia.
But no, you don't just wake up one day while using slin and find that you're a type I diabetic.

it looks like 4iu a day is what im going to have to do to repair my colon so it looks like ill be ok but how long does it take at high dosages to become slin resistant?

You shouldn't have any issues at 4 IUs unless maybe if you're already pre-diabetic.
But where did you read that GH will help with ulcerative colitis? Not saying it doesn't, but I haven't heard anything about it.

I've noticed I'm basically a type 2 now from the high doses of hgh. Fasted levels are fine but it's easy to go hyper now if i eat any simple carbs. When I dropped the hgh for a couple months everything went back normal though

I ran into same issues dosing 10-15iu/d. Problem resolved once I took time off.
