We actually did a mini experiment a few years back in clinic. We reconned four bottles of HCG with bacstat. Left two at room temp (in our HEPA-filtered fume hood), and two in our refrigerated drug cabinet. At 60 days we sent one of each (room temp vs refrigerated) to a local lab for potency analysis. The room temp diminished by 27% over refrigerated bottle. At 90 days we repeated the procedure. The refrigerated bottle had a diminished potency of 32% (compared to the refrigerated bottle at 60 days and the lab's control) and the room temp bottle left at 90 days had a diminished potency of about 67%.
So as AD correctly suggested OP, refrigeration of reconstituted HCG will help maintain potency.
