Orals and test, is it possible my test is high enough or is test ALWAYS needed?

    I got my labs back...

Total T was 834, and free test was 143.4 on the 35-155 scale, at 35 I guess they expected a lower number because she asked me if I was using anything. I just ride my recumbent bike 4-5 days a week for an hour and 10 minutes and that has brought it back up.

I was curious however that if that seems to elevate my test that if I took a mild oral (for additional collagen synthesis) would it be less likely to shut me down? or is a 250 mg or so dose still needed? I'm only looking to do about 40 mgs of var or perhaps something that might be better? I asked about Deca , but it seems to be a lot more involved.

My intention is to try to get some additional collagen, but build some muscle up while doing physical therapy for arthritis in my back.

You need to understand how your HPTA system works. Your Testosterone levels are not relevant. They will be suppressed in the presence of any steroids . This is why you need to use testosterone . Otherwise you won't function like a man, you'll be super lethargic and you'll render your cycle and efforts worthless.

Read this before you do anything...

~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

I'll read it, but your explanation is enough... I just was curious more than anything.

so really if my test is already in good shape it sounds like it's not a good idea to mess with it since I don't know for sure how my body will return after the cycle and PCT ?

I don't know... all my labs look good... not super high test or anything, but I don't care about getting big. it's just not in my natural genetics and I do a lot of martial arts that being bigger would inhibit as far as needed to be a bit slimmer. Not saying it couldn't be done, just that it would be easier to manipulate my body more. Just would like my back to feel better.

If I could train harder then I would... with a shot shoulder and back issues, I can't do that. I have to just do what my body will allow me.

At this point in time..... I wouldn't screw with anything. Your test levels are good - dont screw it up.

Deca is the only thing that may give you relief because it'll help cushion the joints but you're only treating the symptoms. Once you come off the pain will return and now your test levels may not recover as well.

Other steroids that promote collagen synthesis are misleading. They don't promote the cross-linking connectivity of the new collagen. Leaving it brittle and more susceptible to tearing. I'm not saying it'll happen but it could and considering your martial arts background - it's not something you're looking for to happen.

Maybe stick to glucosamine & chondroiten for now.

Yeah, I guess i'll try that and just be happy that my test levels are decent at 35.
