HGH Side Effects - Precautions
hello,
I am planning on doing some HGH to repair my intestines/colon
In terms of the precautions that people take I found the following below:
For the insulin resistance that is possible:
conservative - 300mg of Alpha Lipoic Acid and 200 - 300mcgs of Chromium Piccinolate
moderate - 15mg of Actos - a prescription med to increase insulin sensitivity, Glucophage (Metformin) to dispose of excess glucose and increase uptake in muscles.
aggressive - add a few IU's of insulin to your HGH cycle
For protection against prostate growth:
conservative - do nothing
moderate - use Saw Palmetto (approx 2000mg)
aggressive - use Proscar or equivalent
My question is if and when I work my way up to 4.5iu/day….how would I know that I have insulin resistance and how do I know if my prostate is growing?... or do people just take the meds listed instead of risking it
thanks

i am assuming you're doing this without dr supervision...

unfortunately yes and no i guess...... there is a clinical trial for crohns that i am following, my Dr wont be prescribing me the HGH but he is aware of what i am doing and will support me with testing and all that
the reason i ask these questions is because id rather be preventative rather than learning after the fact, which maybe too late

if you're starting with a reasonably low dose, i would suggest no other meds like metformin or proscar. just monitor your blood sugar ( fasting as well as 2hr post meal).
i am not sure if GH specifically stimulate the prostate, but i would do a pre-GH tumor screening, maybe to include prostate, colon, pancreas, stomach etc.

in addition to prostate, i found this:
Anti-Aging Therapy with Human Growth Hormone Associated with Metastatic Colon Cancer in a Patient with Crohn’s Colitis
so check PSA and CEA.

thank you for this, and im aware of it as well...unfortunatley im not responding well to standard medical/alternative medicine/treatments and have a really low quality of life... besides this study was based on a 68 y/o man. The fact is that anyone with crohns/colitis already has a higher risk than the regular joe, so blaming it on HGH isnt really accurate......now if this was a study of at least 20 guys in their 30's with this issue, that would be enough to scare me away...i do appreciate your help, so i thank you

totally not trying to scare you. its just a case study. one case. out of millions of patients who didn't get cancer.
check psa for prostate and cea for colon, pre-gh to get a baseline, and at regular intervals there after.
