just did my first Test E injection

just did it. took a few seconds to gain my composure & stick it in there. 1 1/2 inch 23 gauge. put it in my right glute. a little further than 1 inch i was a bit shaky so i may have pulled it a little out during injection, but i put it deeper. i was nervous ): it actually didn't hurt. at all. pulled out to make sure i didn't hit a vein, it was a little hard to pull, but i didnt see any blood. after the injection i left the needle there for about 8 seconds, pulled out & applied the band aid. it stings a little even 10 minutes after. is there any way for me to know i injected into my muscle?

All normal. My immediate 'bruised' feeling subsided several hours later. Then 3 days of moderate but certainly tolerable pain

You'll have good shots and bad. This one was ok. I'm sure when you get a bad one you'll freak out and ask the board what to do.

thank you & im sure i will (: but i've read a lot & know that some people get redness, swelling, pain & warmness. so i'm alert, but im sure i'll freak out.

I find, if I'm gonna get any noticeable pip, that it will fully show itself by 24 hours from my injection.

quick update. i was nervous when i injected myself, so i was shaking and ended up pulling it out a bit & then back in. the next day i had some bad pain and hardness on my ass cheek where i injected along with a red spot. it got worse the next day & i started to get worried. i work at the airport, so i drive a Tug around pretty much all day. i had to drive around on my left butt cheek. today it's a lot better, so im not worried that it's infected. the pain is about 80% better but the hardness is still there. since the pain subsided, i should be in the clear, right? i massaged it a lot. it helped.

next injection is tomorrow. wont be nervous this time.

Ur fine. I've had my glute so swollen and sensitive, I couldn't even sleep on my sides after. Now, I do quads and delts. I'll do glutes this week tho. Also, stick that needle all the way in. I sometimes run hot water on the oil once it's in the syringe......very smooth injection.

Hot water doesn't do anything, unless u chill ur steroids lol but ur more likely of getting an infection cuz water isn't sterile
