    first post !

Hey guys, I'm roman dog, and this is my first post. I've never done a cycle before but I'm seriously considering it, here's a bit about myself.

    I'm 19, 5'9 and 230lbs. With 16% body fat.
I've been training for about 3 years, but i'm currently an engineering student so its hard to train as much as I'd like. Regardless my lifts/ movements are pretty decent:

    Bench: 315 x2
    Squat: 450 x4
    Deadlift: 405 x4
    Cleans: 225 x1
    Snatch: 185x4

I train solely for fun, its like masturbating. Once you start its impossible to stop, it kinda just becomes part of your daily routine. Generally speaking I'm interested in strength, aesthetics aren't a goal, but rather a side affect. You know the old adage, with function comes form.

But yeah that sums it up,

Welcome to the forum. Best to lose some bodyfat and gain some years before starting to cycle. Good luck

Sorry on two counts, I didn't know there was a new members forum and I'm sorry for the analogy

The only reason I have the extra body fat was because I had very limited strength gain. I was 190 with around 4-7% body fat and saw almost no results over a year, with the extra 40lbs and the massive amount of excess calories I really made progress! But I've been on a plateau for about 5 months now, and I'm feeling like I've hit my natural limit more or less. I guess it would be wise to hold off on a cycle for now. I was just thinking I have four months completely off this summer, that I could really make progress on a cycle?

You should be far from your natural genetic limits at your age. As stated above, stick around, read/research, read the diet forum, learn new training techniqes and watch yourself grow. You can do a lot of damage to yourself by administering aas at your age.

    Good luck.
