    Is synthetic testosterone enough?

    I don't know much about steroids . Here's a hypothetical scene...

An novice weightlifter can only squat 185 pounds. His goal is to squat 500 pounds. Considering that he is at the right age and is not overweight, he does steroid cycles. But he doesn't go all the way. All he uses is testosterone and testosterone alone. No Anavar , no Dianabol , no Winstrol , none of that. Just pure testosterone.

Assuming his training programs are excellent for him and he has excellent diet, how long will it take before he can finally squat 500 pounds?

(If it matters, it's an ATG squat

    Thanks.

I'm serious with the question. I know I am a newbie and I do apologize for that.

But that's not the question! Geez.

Dude, seriously, it seems like a trend in this forum to reply like that. I ask what's 1 + 1 and you tell me what's 4 - 3.

And it's a hypothetical scenario. They're not real people. Answer the question or get the **** out. I don't have time for your bullshit.

It's a stupid question so all you're gonna get is stupid answers.

But imo testosterone is king. You can take aas that cause a bit of a hardening appearance and nothing else, or others that cause weight and strength gain from water retention that quickly goes away, or tren that brings major sides and health issues, but for gaining size and strength there's no replacement for testosterone.

Bingo. This was the kind of info I was looking for. Thanks.

So basically, what you're saying is, Testosterone is like the turkey in a thanksgiving dinner?

Well really all you need is a good training program to hit 500 within a couple years of training. 185 is very much noob status and not ready for aas

Gauging by weights is not relevant in my opinion. "How much do you bench" is just silly in my opinion.

I only squat about 225 and I'm no noob. I do have a fake hip though and don't want to cause damage to it. I use to squat MUCH MUCH MUCH more but I'm all set on getting another new hip any time soon. Does this make me a noob too????

I can squat over 185 and weigh 165 and am at least 20 pounds of bodyweight and fifty pounds of squat weight off of being ready for roids.

I think readiness for roids is just a matter of being at the right age at low-enough bodyfat.

Because the whole point of roids is to get you big...

Exactly. Some people are so preoccupied with lift numbers. I've seen guys in the gym that can push a lot of weight but they look like hell. They are overweight and probably gasp for air walking up a flight of stairs. Focus on improving yourself, not trying to lift more than some guy who looks like he wouldn't know a good lean diet if it hit him in the face!

I agree I've seen people benching 200kg with shocking form! I'd much prefer to bench 100kg nice slow reps squeezing every time

Poppycock. Absolute rhubarb. A big bench is all what it is about. We all desire that hunched over Neanderthal look that causes tremendous muscle imbalance and also causes people to laugh at us because we look like like monkeys.

Actually lol at this! My personal favorite is when the pecs and front delts are so tight that the dude walks with his palms facing rearward.

Sick disguised brag post here : ) ! So if I can squat 400lb for 8 reps @ 176lb with 2 herniated discs, then I am definitely good to go to start juicing right?

Ass to grass squat, I do more than op ATG. Basically a squat where your ass almost hits the ground.
