First Cycle

Hey all,

I have been working out off and on for the past ten years. Recently got back into it 3 months ago and have been making so-so progress. I have been approached by a buddy of mine who has run a few cycles and has put on some phenomenal size in the past 5 months. Prior to his approach, I was considering approaching him, so it worked out. I am thinking of running a simple first cycle: Test Cypionate for 12wks at 500mg/wk and then Nolvadex for 4wks at 40/40/20/20. He is wanting me to run Deca and D-Bol with it, but I would rather take it nice and slow and find out what works best for me and my goals. Will the PCT be enough or do I need to add more to it? I kinda figured since it is not a very LARGE cycle, that should be all I need, but I am turning to you guys here who have more experience than I to lead me in the right direction. I will not start this cycle for another month or two so I can tweek it here and there. Thoughts? Opinions?

Don't worry about using deca and Dbol your first time. Just run the test. Just Nolva isn't enough either, and Clomid to your pct as well. Do you plan on using an AI or HCG.

Yes, I read the sticky. I was planning on running Arimidex 0.25mg EOD up until PCT just like it said. I thought I had included that in the post above. No HCG. So I SHOULD add Clomid to PCT? I know what the sticky said, but I was of the understanding that one or the other would be fine. I mean, naturally, I will add Clomid to PCT as stated, but can someone further explain how the Nolvadex is not enough?

Add HCG, it will make your recover a million times smoother. It will keep your testes functioning while on cycle.

Clomid has both estrogenic and anti-estrogenic properties. More importantly, it induces spermatogenesis (helps produce sperm since you will impair sperm production during a cycle). Most people who say clomid isn't necessary are simply not acknowledging the spermatogenetic properties of clomid.
