Hi all
I understand insulins role in shuttling glycogen and protein into muscle cells as well as fat into fat cells. Also that its whats responsible for the monstrous size of today's pros. What I can't understand is why there's a need to inject supplemental insulin, when millions of people become hyperinsulinemic purely by virtue of a very high carb diet. Woulnt injecting insulin and taking in carbs amount to exactly the same thing but in an even more dangerous manner? How would it not lead to obesity and insulin insensitivity rather than muscle mass?
I've used my natural insulin response to bulk by eating high carb before ever cycling, and while it helped me put on serious size, I also put on a lot of visceral and belly fat which is being a beach to get rid of without droppinh carbs. Im not interested in shooting insulin, just curious, and I haven't seen this answered anywhere. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me understand this
