    Likelihood of hitting a nerve

Just received all of my gear last week (Test E, Adex, hCG , Nolva, Clomid), and getting all of my blood work done this Friday from my doc.

This is my first cycle so I'm pumped and have read up quite a bit about successful pinning.

What are the chances of hitting a nerve in your glutes or quads? I have 23g x 1.5 pins. I saw a pic of a guy who hit a nerve in his tricep and it was nasty! Not gonna lie, freaked me out a bit.

Anything I can do to prevent this from happening, and if it does happen, what should be done for proper healing?

    Thanks for the advice!

No chance if you do it right. Stay in the upper-outer quadrant and you'll be fine.

Always aspirate and go with the best areas to shoot. Glutes, quads, and rear delts. Ive done three cycles and hit a nerve a handful of times and never a vein..

If you feel that 23 is too much you can always go down to a 25Gx1, thats the size i prefer.

If you do side delt you have a chance of hitting a nerve that will paralyses your shoulder, so be careful and do your do diligence

You should be fine man since you are running test e just switch glutes every pin that way you will have a full week until you hit the same spot again. I've been injecting every day for the past 10 days now both pecs/both delts/both triceps/both glutes and thankfully haven't ran into any problems yet. Just look at spot injections or credible videos if you ever have any doubts on which location to pin. Make sure you read the comments too to verify if the video is demonstrating the correct spot. Lastly make sure everything is sterile and you use alcohol wipes do everything as it should be and keep everything as clean as possible

This is interesting, the pics on spot injections show side delts as opposed to rear delts? I'm planning on shooting delts tonight and was gonna do side as I can't reach rear delts properly!

Side delt is fine. Just make sure you go right at the muscle belly. The nerve is lower, near the delt insertion.

So I'm pinning in the centre of the delt?

The fleshy portion. The nerve is low and deep, close to the bone. Picture in your mind the tip of the needle as you insert and be aware of how deep you go.

I've got 1.5inch pins. Should I just refrain from pushing the pin to full depth?

Yup. No need to go all the way. Like I said, be aware of where the tip is as you pin, as long as the tip is clearly buried in the muscle tissue, you're fine.

Cheers, I pinned side delt last Tuesday and didn't go to full depth but I didn't leave the pin in long enough and some oil leaked. Going to pin the other side tonight exactly the same but I'll leave the pin in longer.

Sounds good. Don't forget to totally relax the muscle throughout the whole process.

At Uni They teach side delts injections as two fingers width from the top of the shoulder down u should have a thick enough muscle belly there.

    i use 5/8 for delts and bi's
and 1" for legs and Lats

    Just my personal preference.

you are doing test E. that is 2 pins a week. Thus you only ever need to inject glutes. 1 pin each glute per week. almost impossible to hit a nerve if you always inject in the upper outer quadrant. youll be fine. sciatic nerve runs down middle
