Bad pip in delt

Hi all, did a 1ml shot of test E (250mg) in the side delt on Tuesday night. I warmed the oil, muscle was relaxed etc all my standard protocol as I have done previously. The only difference is was that it was my first shot doing it left handed (always used right previously) and therefore I was quite shaky with the needle. I'm thinking that is probably the cause of the pain being worse than normal? I used a 23g pin at 1.5inch but only went about half deep.

Forgot to mention this delt is virgin muscle. The pip is painful but not unbearable. The injection site doesn't look red/inflamed or swollen so I don't think it's infected.

Your muscle fibers are the same today, as they were a week ago, so we can rule out the "virgin muscle" theory. You were unsteady and that's the cause.

I meant its this first time I've injected this delt. I did the other side last week and again that was the first injection in it but it was not as bad as this so like you said it must have been because I was unsteady. I'm guessing a steady hand comes with experience?

It's from the excess movement of the needle.

Yes, steadiness is tough at first, but you'll get there.

Cheers guys. I knew when I did it and I was unsteady that It was gonna hurt after a while lol.
