    Opinions on 19-Nors and Progesterone

    Bromocriptine, Cabergoline, Pramipexole.

If you were running a cycle with a 19-Nor, what would you use to treat/control/prevent progestins from "acting bad?"

I don't have experience with Bromo, but caber and prami are both great. prami is far more readily available, easy to dose and effective.

Beware of liquid caber... it's not stable in liquid, so don't trust anyone selling it.

^ yeah. I recommend starting at 0.25mg for several days. Then increasing by 0.25mg increments slowly, not to exceed 1mg daily. Key point: Take it when you're sleepy and going to bed. You need to be able to pass out and sleep through the sides.

Thanks, Austinite. I've heard Caber is good but expensive, and can give you some rough sides. From what I read online (and now from you), Prami is the way to go. Thanks for the feedback.

I would go with Caber. Your morning blood shot eyes and feeling like a hangover will slowly go away as your body gets used to it. I've used Bromo also and it's worst then caber on the morning side effects.

I tried dosing in AM. Dosing in PM. Splitting the .25 into separate doses. Still beat me like a wretched mule.

Yeah, it's one of those things you just have to experience and try. Shoot, I know some folks who can't handle arginine very well. lol. You never know how the body will react.

Absolutely true. I had hoped dosing before bed would allow me to sleep through the sides. Wrong!!! I experienced just about every side you could have:

    - insomnia
    - somnolence
    - dizziness
    - nausea
    - constipation
    - confusion (oh wait, that's my normal state)
    - nasal congestion
    - extremity pain
    - compulsive behaviors (oh, nope, that's normal)
    - increased urination
.....and the dreams I had when I managed about 20 minutes of sleep every three hours were like something from a Rob Zombie flick!!!!!!

Back and forth about 20 times. HAW got about as much sleep as I did. Made for an interesting few days in clinic. Hope I didn't give the wrong treatments to anyone!

Bromo tends to be the less effective of the 3 and my preference is Caber all the way.

So what is everybody's thoughts on prohormones in general? I haven't done much research into them other than things like pregnenolone and DHEA.

Far too much damage from PH's, in some cases, unmanageable on cycle. But this is not related to the thread...

Didn't Ar-r used to sell caber?

    Thought 19-nor's were considered prohormones?

19 Nors are not pro hormones.

From my understanding, and like I said I haven't done much research into it but 19-Nors supposedly convert to nandrolone in the body. By that definition, it's a prohormone.

Nandrolone is testosterone modified at the 19 position of the molecule. It is a hormone not pro hormone. That is my basic understanding of it.

Prohormones are converted by the body through the metabolism phase into an active hormone. Steroids are active hormones from the start. That's my understanding of it. It's been my understanding that PHs are usually underdosed (if it says take three a day, you'll most likely need to take five or six). Waste of money.

Tren is a 19-nor AAS. Are you saying Tren is a prohormone? I always thought it was a pretty powerful steroid .
