So let's say you aspirate and blood comes up into the syringe, I know you are supposed to abort injection, but do you discard of the needle/syringe and get a new one prepped or simply re-inject in a different spot with the same one?

Discard/replace the needle because it's likely dull, not because it's unsanitary.

I've wondered this before too.... Ive never got blood in my needle before. but i think it would be weird for me mentally to reshoot my gear when blood is mixed in it.
