Are there steroids that have a positive effect on the gaba receptors?

Hello , As I beated benzo addiction my gaba system is still healing. I can't drink alcohol or use other things that hurts my gaba's.
Now does anyone know if there is some sort of steroid that would have a positive effect on the healing part?
I have history with the juice and I do train for more then 5 years.
Hope anyone can help me out.

As far as i know AAS do not have any influence on neurotransmitters such as gaba...

the work mainly on the endocrine system not the central nervous system

Considering that your Pituitary Gland is primarily controlled by your Hypothalamus which is part of the CNS, I would avoid it until you are completely healed.

The hypothalamus signals the release of 'releasing hormones' which act on the pituitary, gaba is an inhibitry neurotransmitter which affects sleep etc!

I agree that it would be best to stay clear of anything until healed
