Injury whilst in middle of cycle

I am 6 weeks into a test e cycle. Last week I have a mild strain in my upper back that will affect my training for a couple of weeks. I am able to work out the rest of my body to an extent just not my back.my question is should I carry on and finish the rest of this cycle or stop now and do pct

It depends on your experience level. I strained my lower back on cycle once, stayed on, carefully worked the areas around it to strengthen it and personally I think being on cycle helped me recover more quickly. If you're more of a beginner though and unable to perform some key movements its better to just start PCT and cycle again later when you're healthy.

Profile says 21, so I would recommend you stopping and running pct on that principal alone. With regard to your injury, you certainly want to be careful with yourself and make sure you don't worsen it. Is this something that massage, or streching could help?

    What are you running?
What PCT do you have lined up?
    Were you running an AI?

sorry forgot to ask your height/weight. The concensus here is that 22 is still young, but I know you're already in the cycle.

I feel like this has to be your call completely, based on the way you feel. If you're able to do other excerises without hurting the injury, if it were me (and I have injured myself on cycle), I would continue to train and be sure to focus and isolate other muscle groups to help ensure I don't aggrivate it.

Your cycle is fine and glad to see you have AI and PCT lined up. Bloodwork 8 weeks after PCT will give you some insight on how well you've recovered. Good luck and I hope you heal up quickly.

Barring the previously mentioned age concerns, it depends on how severe the strain is. If you're experienced enough and capable of working around it, i.e., lower body work, supported arm work, light peripheral work, etc, you can stay on and should be okay in a week or so. But its a judgment call on your part. Be sure to take an anti-inflammatory.
