What is the worst outcome of an injection going wrong?

    Hi,

just curious as to what the worst outcome might be?

I have only ever done glutes which was fine with a long ester,

In future cycles i will be probably moving towards short esters needing more frequent injections obviuosly!

i worry about pinning a 'new' spot and getting it wrong or something...

For example i have heard that if u dont pin delts properly u can hit a nerve paralysing your shoulder for life?is this true lol??

And maybe hitting an artery or bone kind of freaks me out too!

Honestly, infection is my biggest concern. Hitting nerves and vessels is not a big deal and hitting bone is difficult unless you are using crazy long pins and very lean. Even if you did hit bone with a pin..big deal.

If u hit a artery wouldnt it be a very bad situation? or is it not likely?

not likely just make sure you aspirate every time you inject

    worst one was my first..

    pinned 2.5ml into right quad

couldn't walk properly for a week

probably a combination of shaky hands and possibly too much oil..

"Aspiration may be relevant to detect possible penetration of gluteal artery when the dorsogluteal muscle is used – this would indicate incorrect initial land-marking. However, official guidance (DH, 2006; WHO, 2004) does not recommend routine use of the dorsogluteal muscle, and this should be sufficient to justify changing practice. If this site were removed from routine practice, aspiration could be removed from the procedure, simplifying it and reducing the risk of adverse events."

I have done A/S for 20 years and only like doing glutes too. I have run test, prop and enth, tren and have run shots EOD for months without ever having an abcess or infection. Well, I had an infection once, but not too bad. You can do glutes a lot and if you are afraid of shooting delts or quads you should be fine sticking with them; even when shooting EOD. This is just my opinion, but it is after two decades of doing it with no problems so far. Good luck.

So are u saying that u were doing EOD injections with just using your glutes? do u not agree with injection site rotation? haha
