Question Not seeing anything? 5 weeks in...

    Hey

So I've just started my 6th week of a Low Dose Test E cycle, now I know I wasn't to expect huge gains as I'm only running 400mg a week BUT I thought by now I would've seen some sort of size increase? Basically in the past 5weeks the scales have budged only about 2-3kg which could easily be done by food alone..

My plan behind this cycle was to gain some lean amount of mass so I'm also about to add in 80mg ED of Var for the next 8 weeks.

Since day one I have also been running - 50mg Provirion ED, .5mg Arimidex E3D and 60mg Raloxifene ED..

One thought I had was possibly I have basically stalled me Est levels due to running all of the above? I had noticed my knees getting a little achy so I've cut down to 30mg ED of the ralox which has seemed to stop the aches?

I'm fairly positive my gear isn't bunk as I know people running the same stuff with out a problem, and I have noticed some slight sides like oily skin and a small amount of testy shrinkage..

What are people's thoughts? Also should I stick to the ralox @30mg ED while on cycle and up it after my last pin or try and go back to the 60mg ED now?

    Thanks

^^^This! You should be eating above your TDEE if you want to see growth. If you don't eat to drive the gains, they won't happen by themselves!!!!

Almostgone - yeah I am. I'm in bed exhausted by 9:30pm six nights of the week and back up at 6am so my only option is maybe a casein before bed

as long as you're counting your calories...

even if you're not, just eat more. if you're not growing, what else can you do?

I'm definitely going to up my food intake.
I Thought the lack of growth could've been from the possibility of lack of Est levels?

It might be a good idea to calculate your calories and macros and repost this in the nutrition forum. I believe that is the first variable I would work on....and try to sneak in some calories during the night also.

you mean low estro? you will still gain even with low E2 if you're eating more than maintenance. and the way to calculate your maintenance calories is not by using any fancy formula. if you're eating this much, and you're not gaining, then thats your current maintenance. so eat more.

LOL especially on cycle I get up during the night and eat. I never go more than 4hrs without eating something, 6 max due to sleep.

I'm not going to comment on your selection of AI and SERM for this light of a cycle, just on the diet.

Exactly. Usually have to get up to tap a kidney, so while I'm up I hit the fridge or keep a shake handy.

    Appreciate the response mate!
Should I increase my carbs by say a cup of brown rice per meal or also increase my protein?

I feel it's a bit of overkill, but I believe a little diet work would help the most. : )
That's just an opinion , not criticism. You weigh over 100k, you need food to take advantage of the work you do in the gym.

Yeah I do fully understand that and its what il make sure to do.
It's definitely no excuse but the shakes do help me get some quick extra calories when I can. Due to my job I have no time to sit down and eat meals so they are always consumed on the go so it makes it hard to get larger meals down in a hurry

Yeah I probably agree with you especially on such a lite cycle, it was mainly due to not wanting any flare ups so I possibly went a little overboard..

Thanks for your response though, best way to learn and improve is to listen to everyone's thoughts and opinions and take it all in
