    Quick question, want to do this correctly.

    Without giving you a sob story, I want to give you a brief history of myself before asking the questions I have. I joined the Army at 17, wound up in Afghanistan at 19. Was always very athletic... 3 sport all conference athlete in HS, and then of course the military. After I got out however, I had... problems. booze, and depression, etc.

    As you can imagine that took a huge toll on my body. I gained about 45-50 lbs and lost every inch of muscle on my body. When I finally decided to turn my life around, I got sober (first and foremost) and I got to a point where I had lost a lot of the extra fat I had put on. I start trying to build some muscle, and it was working, slowly of course.

    Well finally I have gotten to where I can at least be somewhat comfortable with the way I look, at least in my eyes, knowing how much work, and dieting I put into it. I have ran gear before when I was in the army, at a young age, and not very wisely.

    Now that I am, 26 and a little bit more informed, I have decided to give it another go. I have a 60ml bottle of 30mg anavar . I know the doses, and what they should be, however my dropper isnt a measurement dropper. I have read enough to know a smart way of getting accurate dosages is using a syringe to pull out, and measure. However, I'm not sure how much to put into the syringe to get the correct dose. Because I am gonna run the anavar alone for about two weeks, until my SUS gets here, I am thinking of running about 80mg a day, until then and then dialing it down a bit and just letting it compliment the sus.

    Can anyone help me with how many ML I should use for a dose like this? And please dont light my post on fire, I am trying to do this as informed as I can lol.

    no no no! you need to plan it correctly, have everything in your position before you start. I am confused about the compounds you planning to use. list your cycle and PCT protocol.

    I'm no expert. And I'm new to this forum. I would say read the stickies a lot of great info there. Also the experts are going to want your stats. Height, weight, bf, blood work.

    I planned to run sus or just straight test along side the var. I didnt think running the var alone to begin with would be a big deal seeing as people run var by its self for whole cycles. I have nova and clomid both for PCT. Which should I use. I realize I will sound amateur, but that is because I am. Thats why I am here, asking questions lol

    Welcome bdavis. first of all, I'm glad you pulled out of whatever you were in. I've seen some good men go down in flames from drugs and alcohol. Keep up the good work there - I know its not easy, but you're taking steps forward.

    I konw this is not your first cycle but it might as well be - you should read the following: My First Cycle: Planning and Executing a Successful First Cycle

    Dont run a var only cycle for 2 weeks until you get your test. As bass said, have all your eggs in the basket before you begin. You will benefit much more if you plan correctly.

    What is your diet and training routine like and what are your goals? Lay out your cycle plan so we can see what you have in mind.. something like this:

    1-12 500mg/wk test E
    7-12 80mg/ed var

    PCT:
    Clomid: 100/50/50/50
    Nolv: 40/20/20/20

    Thanks for the replys. Gathering info from this forum and another, I have figured I will hold off on the var until the other compound gets here. Btw, has anyone ran Sus 270 with var? I understand the going thing is to run test, which I can get, but I can have Sus in my hands by the end of the day, so Just a thought.

    My diet is fairly strict, at least by the general populations standards. Im not counting macros like a nazi per say... But a regular day for me looks like this.

    Breakfast, 4 whole eggs, and a Shakeology w/ almond milk ( yes I drink that stuff from Beachbody, I find it to be very beneficial.)

    10am- Various protien bar.

    Lunch- two chicken breasts or Thin cut steaks. with brown rice.

    3pm - Shakeology with water.

    I train at 530pm. About an hour and 15 -30 minutes. ( I am not one of those guys who spends 2 or 3 hours in the gym, but most of that time is spent on their phone or in a mirror.) I do heavy weight, by my standards, and most everything is to failure. I throw super sets and drop sets into every workout.

    7pm dinner, is usually fish, chicken, or steak again. with broccoli, or snapped green beans. Sometimes a sweet potato.

    I try to keep the protien high, carbs, moderate, and fat low. Any suggestions to altering my nutritional intake would be appreciated. (aside from counting macros. I know how, and I know I need to start lol.)

    I know Im not taking in a crap ton of cals, and my training isnt set up to gain a lot of size, by traditional standards. I am at 16-17% bf, and dont really see a need to bulk until I am lower.

    As far as what I should run with the test, and or sus, I was kinda hoping someone here could help me with that.

    Welcome and glad to hear you have snapped out of your downward spiral. We know it's not easy, we support you in your efforts. You have been give. Some good advice. Def wait till you have everything. That will give you a chance to bring your bf % down.
