    Blast and cruise question

Sometime in my late 20's, once I have maxed out my natural gains I plan on going on test permanently. I don't want to be HUGE .. I just want to continue to see gains for as long as possible (hopefully the rest of my life). From the studies I've read and what people are using, it seems like starting out on 135 mg per week would be sliiiiightly above natural level, and I'd increase that amount about 2% per year. So, if I've got my numbers right I'd be mid to late 50's by the time I hit 250 mg per week. This seems fairly reasonable and wouldn't experience too many side effects being that the dose was so low.

Does this seem reasonable? Is there anything I've overlooked?

Also, what AI would be best should I come across any gyno, and what dose would be best for such a small amount of test?

    Thanks in advance.

How old are you that you think it's reasonable to be on self prescribed TRT for possibly 70 years?

I take it you are of the opinion that it is not a good idea lol. May I ask why? Is it that even that low a dose over that long a time would still negatively effect the body in a significant way?

Why would you want to go on test forever if you do not need to? Doesnt make sense to me either

Because it some point I will have maxed out my gains and my testosterone will drop with age. The idea was to continue to see gains .. I feel that as my physique goes with age, depression will creep up on me. Perhaps it was not my best idea, but in my defense, that's why I came here, to see if it was indeed a bad idea.

Most never really reach there genetic potential. Nutrition and rest are key. No reason to be on trt unless it is medically needed

When you reach your natural limit that's when you consider cycling and running a PCT to try and bring your test levels back to normal.

If your natural test levels eventually drop below normal then you may be a candidate for TRT. But to want to pin 2-4times a week for 70 years, always needing a source for testosterone and ancillaries, the cost of those and the cost of continuing bloodwork, having enough knowledge to dial your test levels in and deal with any side effects, well only you can decide if that sounds right for you.

Well how big do you believe a 5'8 male can get without the help of steroids? I see posts all over the internet saying 170 at 5% body fat. Others say 180-185 at 10%. The upper range of estimations seems to be 195 at 10% body fat. I'd probably be fine with this, but like I said, it's the upper range of guesses that I've seen. And as I'm already at 170 at 10% there doesn't seem to be a lot of room for improvement left .. What do you think?

So, once you go on low dose TRT and you max out gains there, then what? With your logic I guess you will just continually up the dose to make gains? Just imagine what dose you'll be on in 20 years?

Hard work, nutrition and lifestyle play a huge part in your gains. Be patient. Most people fail with nutrition and training. Don't be one of them and you'll continue to see gains.

Very very uneducated views. Your hormones control a variety of necessary body functions: sleep, wakefulness, appetite, mood, cognition, immunity, sex drive, sexual performance, digestion, basal metabolic rate, body density, and much more.

You think it's a good idea shutting your natural hormones down and replacing it with synthetics for the rest of your life? Think again.

Using an AI in case of gyno? Why do these kids get their information? A cereal box? Elevated estrogen can lead to stroke, heart attack, peripheral artery disease, DVT, prostate disease, erectile dysfunction, mood disorders....and more. Man boobs should be the least of your concerns junior.

Lol......had just wrapped up a solid work out so I was a little pumped up and edgy. Probably should have waited until the PWO was out of my system and a little calmer. Lol

you need to reevaluate your situation I think. TRT for life just for 20 more lbs lbm? you say you would be happy at 190 @10% so why not get there natty if you can or just run a cycle and then.pct? I think you are thinking too hard about it. how old are you now with those stats?

I have a question that pertains to this subject. I'm 30 and my base test levels are horrifically low at 144. I'm on my first cycle running Test E at 500mg a week. I'm only in my 3rd week but I feel great! I'm concerned that after my PCT is through, and my levels return to their natural level, I'll feel pretty blah again.

If I were to cruise, what would be an appropriate dose? My doctor knows I'm running a cycle, so I'm not sure what he is thinking as far as TRT for me.

    Would cruising even be wise?

Have you discussed TRT with your doctor who knows you are cycling? I would not suggest self prescribing TRT. Let your doctor help you.

Yeah we did talk about it briefly and it was really awkward. I asked him about TRT and what we could do to up my base levels after they return to normal, and he must have thought I was asking him to prescribe me some test or something, because he said that we don't need to discuss it.

Maybe it was the way I phrased the question, I don't know. Thanks for the advice Lunk1.
