There have been an overwhelming number of posts lately from members who seem to be under the impression that aromatase inhibitors (AIs) are to be used 'in case a lump forms' or 'if I notice any puffiness'.

There are many dangers of having elevated E2 levels, and when using aas, a good AI regimen is important to help ensure you minimize the potential for health risks associated with increased E2.

High estrogen can be a major contributing factor to dangerous issues such as heart disease, stroke, prostate enlargement, prostate cancer and more.

Please read the following link, which sheds some good light on why E2 levels should be controlled at all times, and not only if you notice gyno symptoms occurring.

I know some people keep AIs around, but don't start dosing them right away because of concerns on crashing estrogen levels. I recommend starting a cycle (ie 500mg test with .25mg Arimidex EOD) and then after levels have stabilized, get bloodwork and see where you are at and adjust, if needed, from there.

It took me a little bit to dial in my TRT and estrogen levels with several bloodworks. And now I adjust according to amounts of anabolics I'm using. I couldn't imagine cycling and just taking a stab in the dark at an AI dose without checking.

Great post. Estrogen MANAGEMENT is crucial, and not just for gyno prevention. Thats actually far down on this list of adverse effects in the big picture.
