Switch from bulk to cut last 2 weeks of cycle?
I wanted to run this by you guys to see what you think. I'm on my first cycle (500mg Test E only), i'm up 15lbs and i'm nearing the end of week 6. I've gotten good size and strength but also a little fat (nothing compared to when I've bulked in the past naturally though)
Does it make sense to switch my diet to cut the last two weeks? The idea being I'll probably be able to burn fat a hella lot easier while on on cycle still. Has anyone ever done this or have a reason to or not to do this?
Thanks

you will probably end up loosing most of what you gained...keep calories high, cut AFTER PCT...

Absolutely not. If you're bulking, keep bulking through pct. Calories high - don't lose everything you've gained. What are your stats and goals?

29, 5'9", 180lbs, 345, 460, and 260 squat dead bench raw. I powerlift. I'm looking to overshoot 181 (hit 190 maybe) and then lean down to under 181 (thats a weight class). Main reason for doing a cycle is I was too tall for 165, although decent lifts for my size, i was getting raped by short ****ers.
Looking good next summer wouldn't be bad either, but I could honestly give 2 shits about having a 6pac. Anytime I get super low fat on me I get weak, fast, and that is not acceptable.

Well if you're shooting for a certain weight class in competitive power lifting, then I think you've answered your own question, no?

are you using any AI? getting rid of some excess water will help you reach your weight target without losing much performance.

I have aromasin on the way but unfortunately I don't think its going to get here before the end of my cycle. Lesson learned. I have clomid for PCT though, any use taking some on cycle?

10 weeks was my plan, but I have enough for 12 should there be compelling reason to extend (so far I see no reason, I'm running a 9 week lifting routine that is working out nicely. Last week on cycle would be a deload and first week off cycle would be testing new maxes.
And you have to realize that cutting to me probably doesn't mean what it means to some of you. I'm at 3800+ to gain, I stay level at 3400-3600. Cut would be like 3200 calories (when I was natural, this would shed about 1lb/week off me, maybe slightly less).
