Hey everyone. I have been a dedicated weightlifter for almost 3 years now and will be starting my first ever cycle with the magical elixir. I have been researching up a storm on this to be absolutely certain that I am following everything to T and being smart about this. BUT, I still have just a few questions before I am ready to start pinning. (I'm picking up some Test-E tomorrow). My plan is to run Test-E at 500mg/week (250-Mon/250-Thurs) for 12 weeks and then begin PCT with Tamox and Clomi 1.5-2 weeks after my last pin with a 40-40-20-20 on the Tamox and 100-50-50-50 on the Clomi.
1st question:
Testicular support?
I've been reading about the use of HCG for testicular support while on cycle. Is this necessary for my first cycle or is there any natural supplements that I can dose to handle my natural test production during cycle? I'm trying to keep this as simple as possible, but again, I'm not looking to be stupid about this either.
2nd question:
Liver support?
Is there any natural supplements (like milk thistle) that I can take for liver support. While I have heard that Test-E is not as harsh on the liver as orals, again, I don't want to be dumb about it.
3rd question:
PCT?
How does my PCT look that I have chosen? My buddy said it looks fine, but I want to be sure. Perhaps a veteran could chime in.
4th question:
Gyno?
While on cycle and I by some chance run into gyno issues I was planning on 20mg doses per day of Tamox until the symptoms subside. Sound ok?
5th question:
Bloodwork?
Do I need to get a blood test before I start my cycle or can I have that checked after cycle and PCT? This is where I get slightly nervous. I'm not sure how to approach this without getting the weird look from the doc. A year ago I went in for just a regular physical and had some bloodwork done that showed my iron count, hemoglobins, HDL, LDL, etc and I passed with flying colors all across the board. I consider myself a VERY HEALTHY individual. I do not smoke and I drink only on very rare occasions in a social manner.
A little bit about me. I am 6'5", 31 yo, and I started weightlifting in February of 2011 and weighed in at 180#. I have put on 35# in the past almost 3 years. I have never had a body fat caliper test but I would assume that I am under 20% body fat. I really have some great tall, skinny genetics going for me but that also means I have had to put in a lot of work to get where I am. My before and after photos are simply amazing to me. I know that I have gained some body fat (inevitable) BUT I don't think it has been drastic because I am much more muscular than I ever have been. I have just enough fat around my midsection to cover my abs and that is about it. I am pretty much skinny everywhere else.
Thanks to everyone that can give me some input here. I have a feeling that after my first cycle, I am going to gain a lot of experienced knowledge about this but I just need a few pointers before I get my feet wet. I am totally ready for this and the gym is truly my home away from home. I am in an unbelievable "zone" at the gym and I believe this persistence and my diet has been my success thus far. Training is not a hobby for me, hot rods are. Training is a way of life for me.
