    Switching from steroids to creatine

Does anyone know whether you can still retain the muscle gained with steroids if you switch to creatine once you achieved your goal? Or would you lose it if you stop taking the steroids?

    Thanks

Do you know what creatine is and how it differs from AAS, do you realise the importance of nutrients when you talk about muscle retention?

Well as far as I know creatine will give you the boost for those extra repetitions at the end of each set when working out and helps you to gain more muscle mass, although it takes longer than with steroids (in my case I want to use steroids as creatine isn't working much in gaining muscle mass). What I thought is that once you achieved your goal with steroids it could be possible to switch to creatine and retain it working out.

I may be confused though, hence my question.

You will retain everything if ur below ur genetic limit and keep eating and training hard through pct. sound like you have a lot more research to do. diet is key check out the nutrition section there is a lot of info and lots of people willing to help u.

I'm no expert but no, by using creatine alone you will not keep your gains. Nutrition and training are key to maintaining muscle mass gained through AAS. Creatine and other supplements may help somewhat but eating and training right are the things to concentrate on IMO

A proper PCT and recovering your natural hormone production as fast as possible will be the most important thing to worry about if using AAS.

This as well as proper nutrition. You have to continue to feed the new formed tissue or you will lose it.

Of course, a lot of people who gain weight on cycle forget the have to eat enough to maintain their new mass, even when you lose you appetite during or after PCT.

Figure out your TDEE, and make sure you're eating 5-800 above, calculate your macronutrients, stay consistent in the gym and you'll keep everything you can. Creatine will not hurt, but there is no miracle supplement.. diet and training my friend.

Thank you all for you comments.

My point is that I want to use AAS to help me gain more muscle mass, however I don't want to take this forever but being able to keep the gain.

It does make sense eating a lot more and keeping up with the nutrients, apart from the training obviously.

    Thank you.
