    Body Sculpting

    Hi,

I'm new here so please be gentle. I have a few newb questions I cannot find the answers to by searching.

First some info on me :
    37 y/o
    6 ft
    170 lbs
    15-18% bf

I want to create the aesthetics of the goal picture and you can see I've got some way to go yet. I'd like to know if I use steroids to achieve something similar will I need to continue use once I have reached this physique (assuming PCT's, current and post diet and training are performed correctly) ?

Can steroids be used to sculpt your shape?
ie larger pecs, delts and quads without significant changes to other areas?

Just trying to asses whether this would be an option to use in the future.

    Thanks for any advice

no, they'll make your muscles bigger but they wont shape them. you can achieve that in proper weight training and diet.

that guy is biggr than you too. Just get bigger and you'd pretty much look like that. Nothing can shape you, even doing exersises at different angles wont help. In my opinion the only exception would be incline pec work to fill in the upper chest, and seated wide grip pulls to hit the upper back and rhomboids. but your really not shaping there, just hitting different muscle. Reverse bicep curls tend to bring out the brachialis. These have all worked on me.
also being lean will allow the shape of your muscles really shine through, especially that last 5 lbs

actually...i hlf take that back. Let say your problems areas are you shoulders. You could tecnically just do you shoulders or pprioritize them on that cycle and just do maintence on everything else. This would ensure full recovery and growth for the targetted muscle group

Thanks for the responses. I'm inspired to think I could prioritize muscles/groups on a cycle to target lagging regions.

I'm only 18 months down this journey so I think it is too early for me to consider steroids at this stage, but I like to be prepared with the info I need.

My concern is that I've always had a quite dis-proportioned physique. For example (for an untrained person) quite large traps and calfs (blessed I know) and yet tiny puny pecs, lats and quads. I am currently growing every month and attempting to address my proportions into a more aesthetically pleasing shape, but I suspect that when I reach a size that I am happy with there will be a lot of balancing of proportions to work on.

I'm not sure if I use steroids to aid in this proportioning will I need to continue use, or can I use them to build the mass on the lagging areas and then discontinue use to maintain my ideal physique? Will the mass gained during steroid use be lost over time if stop using?

I doubt my ideal size is much greater (if at all) than my genetic limits, but I've read that my body would revert back to somewhere around my genetic limit (wherever that is).

    Thanks for any input

A lot of that build in the picture is based on diet, IMO. In my Avatar I was bulking so I look thicker than normal. I normally walk around at 185lbs. In the Avatar I'm 205lbs and was eating like a horse.
