    Should I Stop My Cycle?

Well guys heres whats going on. I am exactly 1 week into my 8 week cycle of Test P 200mg / NPP 200mg. I pulled a muscle in my back that is going to keep me limited to my lifting, and totally taking time off of back and shoulders for probably 2 weeks im guessing. Seeing that this is only an 8 week cycle that is a lot of lost/wasted time on cycle.

I was thinking that only being a week in, if I come off for a least 2 weeks, my body should be fine to go back on for the full 8 week cycle at that point as long as my back is better? I know rule of thumb is usually time on = time off, which I would have covered. PCT isnt really needed after only 1 week of cycling is it? I have also been doing HCG twice a week, and Amiridex EOD while on cycle.

It your call, I personally would stay on. I have worked out around plenty of injuries before.

I had a similar problem. Thought I would just push through and take it easy on the back stuff. Ended up needing surgery for a herniated disk. You would be surprised how much every lift creates strain on your back.

If you hurt yourself go to PT and then consult a trainer to learn what you did wrong to get the injury. One of my favorite tips for long term gains is don't get hurt.

But since you are hurt, just use machines to do more isolation exercises and keep strain off the hurt area. It sucks but it will keep you going. Heat, ice and a calorie surplus will all help you heal as fast as possible.

I'd also like more information on the injury you have? Specific location? What were you doing when you got it? How much weight were you using? What motions aggravate it etc.

End the cycle and get healed completely. Not worth wasting time and gear while your injured.

+1. Get healed. Nothing worse than a long lay off from training because of impatience. Been there, done that. Listen to your body and treat it with respect or it will teach you to respect it.

    Those.

I wouldn't even worry about pct 1 week in. just stop and heal up before you go back on. Maybe do a week of clomid if youre really worried about it or feel you need to but imo not necessary.

Agreed.. your best bet is to stop, get healthy and then regroup. You want to maximize your lifts on cycle, and working around an injury will just be counterproductive.

Sorry you're hurt man.. I know how frustrating that can be, especially when on cycle.

Thanks for your help guys. I was feeling like as much as I hated to do it, I should take 2 weeks off and see how I felt. You guys definitely helped me decide to stick with it though.
