Estrogen Deprivation Leads To Death Of Dopamine Cells In The Brain

A SOLID REASON why fuking too much with e2, getting it to low is BAD. As we now, estrogen is primordial in the synthesis of serotonin, dopamine and norephinephrine. I was looking a lot into why I felt my dopamine was so low during trt and post trt ( I can easily know it by how I feel.), I know I crashed a lot my e2 with too much arimidex . I'm seriously worriying now.

Estrogen Deprivation Leads To Death Of Dopamine Cells In The Brain

Estrogen deprivation leads to the death of dopamine cells in the brain, a finding by Yale researchers that could have implications for post-menopausal women.

The cells can be regenerated if estrogen is administered within 10 days, but by 30 days, the cells appear to be permanently lost, said D. Eugene Redmond, Jr., professor of psychiatry and neurosurgery at Yale School of Medicine and director of the Neural Transplantation and Regeneration Program. Redmond is co-investigator and spokesperson about the study published in the December issue of The Journal of Neuroscience.

Well, look like there is hope finally.

study from 2011 http://www.hindawi.com/journals/nri/2011/898012/: However, recent studies have shown that new neurons are continuously generated by endogenous neural stem cells in the subventricular zone (SVZ) of the adult mammalian brain, including the human brain.

Still, just prove that crushing e2 too much is NOT a good thing.
