HELP!!!!! I think I have a DOUBLE infection

So, last Thursday I did an injection of Test E in my right delt. I've been using this vial for the past 8 weeks without any issue. Anyways, it ended up getting infected by Monday morning. The problem is I injected Sunday night in my left delt and I believe it's getting infected as well. I was prescribed antibiotics for the infection in my right arm yesterday but now my left shoulder is getting worse. Should I just monitor it because I'm on Antibiotics or should I be freaking out and going to the ER? Obviously, I dumped the rest of the gear and won't inject that again. I'm thinking somehow I contaminated the vial just not sure how.

    Please help.

Continue the antibiotics, if it gets worse go back to your doc. Perhaps the issue was with the gear itself and not the vial.

kinda gotta agree, but still left questionable about the previous 8 weeks he said he used it.

did you use fresh pins everytime, everything sterilized?

Actually, I've been using the same vial for 11 weeks. It was a 20ml vial. If it was dirty gear it would have happened sooner I would think? I used 16ml's of the vial and the final 2ml's are what gave me the issue. I'm very sterile when I inject. I use one needle to draw and one to inject. I use alcohol wipes on my skin at the injection site and a separate wipe on the vial. I shower before I inject. I'm also on TRT and have been on for over a year now and never had any issues. That said, this gear is not my prescription. I went away last week to a cabin and I think I must have done something there that contaminated the vial.

Either way what's done is done at this point and I just need to get rid of this infection ASAP. Should the current antibiotics kill the newer infection as well? I drew a line around the redness so I can see if the infection is growing or shrinking and my Dr. said it should start shrinking around 48 hours.

If it is just now happening, the only other thing I could think of if there was some sort of impurities in the gear. Meaning some type of microscopic sediment that would otherwise sink to the bottom of the vial until it was eventually drawn up by the syringe. If you think about a bottle of Snapple that sits for a while and you can see the sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Same concept only not visible to the naked eye. If you have a different vial maybe try using from that, or try filtering your gear. It is strange that you would get an infection in one shoulder than get one in the next after 8 weeks. I would imagine the antibiotics would help to quell the new infection, but I would still maybe throw a phone call out to your doc.

I will def. look into filtering my gear moving forward. I'm certainly freaked out quite a bit. I'm going back to my TRT now and using my prescription gear. I've got a ton of the other gear left that I haven't touched but I think I'm just going to toss it all.

Throw your gear in a pressure cooker to kill off any bacteria. Check out the lab section for details. That and you could filter it with a syringe filter into a new sterile vial. Better than tossing it IMO.
