Cutting fat post cycle
I just completed PCT for my first cycle. Overall I got great results, and put on approximately 20lb of lean mass. I did add on a couple of pounds of body fat, which is fine with me considering. I'd like to drop that weight now, but I hear that post cycle, the body is particularly prone to muscle loss if I begin to cut. My question is this:
I completed PCT approximately one week ago, Should I wait a longer period of time to begin to cut weight if I want to preserve my muscle?
Maybe I should continue to bulk up until the next cycle at which point I'll cut weight? I hear that almost no muscle is lost when cutting while on cycle. Maybe I can start cutting now with little adverse effect? Maybe I should wait several more weeks? I was planning on just waiting a few weeks and then cutting fat for ~6 weeks before I start to bulk again. I just want to hear what everyone has to say before I decide what to do, so any insight is very appreciated. Thanks all.

What did your cycle consist of?

Holy cow. No offence buddy but do you lift? You have no size at all, even now.myou need to learn how to diet and train before you even start to even consider another cycle.
What is your age, height and weight.
It's difficult to guess your bodyfat as you have almost no muscle.
Who advised you on this crazy venture?
What was the cycle? Include ancillaries and pct protocol please.
Edit- the last thing you need to do is think about cutting until you gain at least another 20lbs of quality tissue.Last edited by Back In Black; 01-15-2014 at 01:23 PM.

^^
OP that's kind of what I was hinting at by asking what your cycle consisted of. Honestly I don't see much of a change. You are very lean however, a cycle of test would have shown some gains in muscle mass. Also you are not 15% I would say more in the single digits, maybe 8% or 9%

This kid did gain some size, albeit incorrectly...there's a definite difference in the two pictures, yes he needs to gain size and some lessons if he did take aas...
OP, I understand you wanting to cut, abs in the summer etc...but if u cut to that point you'll waste away, B.I.B. is right you really want to add size...head to the nutrition forum and you can get advice on doing so with minimal fat gains

It's already been said. You aren't eating enough. Steroids won't make you grow without the fuel (FOOD).
I'm curious....how many calories were you eating every day? If I had to guess, you were probably around your TDEE and not enough above to gain size.

A very commendable response....I've seen many people trying to run stuff with much more laughable physiques....people think you inject steroids and BOOM you're big, my gf being an example, she asked "why are you eating so much" I was like what?? How will I grow! She thought you injected and just grew, but that's the lack of real education people have in this subject...hopefully OP comes back tho, he may have been spooked off!

It's all good guys, I'm on here asking for advice, my feelings aren't gonna get hurt haha..... Honestly I appreciate all the input.
I'm 23 6'2 and about 185 lbs
My diet is around 3200 or so calories a day made up of about 50% protein 30% carbs and 20% fat
For the cycle 1-12 weeks 500mg Test E weekly, 1-6 weeks 25 mg Dbol daily and nolvadex 40/40/20/20 for PCT.
I was so scrawny starting off because I stopped lifting for the past year and took up boxing, Was told by a local kid that sells juice if I ran a cycle it would jump start me bulking up again. Apparently was misinformed but I guess hindsight is 20/20.
So what I'm getting here is I should stay away from the gear for the foreseeable future and not worry about cutting weight until I hit at least 200 lbs?

I mean, you could hit 200 + in a relatively short amount of time, if you really work it, get proper sleep and eat right you could theoretically gain a pound a week, I aim for .5 lbs or I get hella fat, even then, at that slow of a rate, it'd be August, judging from your body type you probably wouldn't gain fat like me so you could do it in half the time

With 23 just eat good sleep well this dedication you will need even if your are on a cycle and I would go for protein/carb/fat 40/40/20

Good advice given here. Sorry you jumped the gun on that cycle. You could have made those gains naturally just as easily likely based on your starting point. Like they said, keep going at it naturally, you have years of being able to put on quality muscle mass without any aid. I would keep the body fat under control but seriously learn your body and what it takes to induce muscle growth, and do it for a long long time. And then in several years of consistency and training decide if you really want to cycle, prime for it by dropping body fat prior. But honestly I always think people should take advantage of what your body can do on it's own first.

Agree with everyone on here...
But! I am interested in the answer to his question of how long to wait after pct to drop the calories and drop some bodyfat from a bulk. What do you guys think? A month after completing pct would be my gut
