IT's shameless propaganda. First Lance Armstrong has most "sophisticated", then A-Rod, and in a few months it will be the next marquee superstar to be busted.

These type of protocols have been discussed with regularity on bodybuilding forums. You guys are pioneers. I am sure countless elite athletes and/or their gurus have lurked these forums with regularity in search of clues for performance-enhancement.

Why do they always label these stories as "the most potent and sophisticated", to draw the most attention possible to these big name atheletes? Or is it because the world has a negative uneducated eye in general to aas period? Either way, Rodriguez needs to man up and take his punishment like a grown man. Rules are rules, with the amount he is paid, id follow whatever rules.

Why do they always label these stories as "the most potent and sophisticated", to draw the most attention possible to these big name atheletes? Or is it because the world has a negative uneducated eye in general to aas period?

USADA wants the public to think they are making a difference in the war on steroids in sports; if they are able to take down such "sophisticated" attempts at doping, then they want the public to think that no one else has a chance.

They don't want the public to know the truth: that Lance Armstrong wasn't doing anything different than any of his competitors, that Alex Rodriguez protocols aren't anything different than what has been done by thousands of other bodybuilders and athletes, and that they remain behind in the cat and mouse game.

Because this would mean there could very well be athletes who are avoiding detection with truly sophisticated protocols!
