You have patient-doc privildege confidentiality--don't drain abcesses at home

i've read during my recent research that people drain abcesses on their own by aspirating....

(for fear out of telling an ER doc or the ER staff how they got a red spot on an injection site that may be a possible abcess because of AAS)

this will only make the abcesss larger and will do harm

You have patient-doctor privildege confidentiality--don't drain abcesses at home

You can tell the doctor that you use anabolic steroids for anti-aging properties (Testosterone ) or even for muscle building

without worrying about a file being put on you that may inform the police. It is totally confidential.

doctors and ER's keep a DEA file only on like benzodiazepams like Xanax Valium & Clonipin or painkillers like percosetes & oxycodon or vikodin

because they're worried about doctor shopping for these controlled substance prescriptions even at ER's.

the worse thing that happens is u get a snobby ER doctor who is fairly young like most of them are--who might feel you "did this to yourself" & are wasting his/her time that could be spent on people who didn't do it to themselves

really?! what about smokers who get upper respiratory infections or STD's from a permiscious lifestyle?

F these docs and tell the truth....it's your right to try to improve your body and health with the aid of these medicines.

even if you're dancing with" the devil with the blue dress lady" for a short time to cross the bridge.

in fact if u tell the truth, you will get better treatment than if you say u got it from an insect bite.

    my PSA for the day

    thanx for ur attention

It will be noted in your file and it CAN affect your health insurance!

Yeah good luck with that. Look how much doctor patient confidentiality has changed over the years. Your insurance company already has access and knows a LOT more than you think as well as 3rd parties and employees.

Can you guarantee that what little privacy we have now wont change anytime in the future? If you can then you can also give me the winning lottery numbers for the next Mega Millions lottery.

In other words your logic is very flawed and down right wrong thinking it's all private and will never be shared. If you truly believe this go ahead and do what you want but dont continue to tell false truths to others.

    To the OP:

False. Anything you say to a medical professional goes into a database. It will become part of your records. Forever.doctor patient confidentiality is a myth.

Ur cr8z! I tend to shy away from advice given in netspeak by a kid who either can't spell or doesn't have a clue what he's talking about because he thinks these things ARE spelled correctly.

    privildege?
    permiscious lifestyle?
    Duh.

    benzodiazepams
    percosetes
    oxycodon
    vikodin
    Clonipin

You spelled every single one of those drug names incorrectly, and even spelled their classification wrong.

" even if you're dancing with" the devil with the blue dress lady" for a short time..." What? Nicholson as the joker in the 1989 Tim Burton Batman with Michael Keaton said something like that. His character was insane though. Are you? I do not know what the hell you mean by this.

My guess is you're very young and not very bright. Anybody who takes this advice should consider the source.

Someone trying to set up people to fail?
Misinformed youth trying to prove his worth/knowledge?
He probably is a Obamacare supporter although still covered by his parents insurance until he's 26. Says he's 40 but?. If he believe in Obamacare he will believe anything.

Hopefully just misinformed, misguided and will listen and learn.

100% agree, I have had my work call me at home with their 3rd party healthcare specialist (non doctors or nurses) who call with health, diet tips and seem to know most every medication I have ever taken as well as past medical history. What kind of privacy is that?

I tell them to remove me from their database and I don't want/need their advice. One guy tried to argue with me until I gave him my stats since he thought I was overweight being 5'8' 185 lbs. lol I told him I was under 12% BF and said if he could prove he was in better shape than me I would listen to what he had to say in regards to diet and training. He didnt argue.

That kind of privacy is called 'no privacy'. Heard of it?

Yes I love when I'm told I'm obese based on 225lbs, 6' tall by someone on a phone who has never seen me. Its happened to me too.

Yep. These phone people, if they are typical, are all at 30 to 40% bf looking at their trusty bmi chart and telling us we are obese. I know. I hate that thing. Its for average people. It doesn't take fitness level into account at all.

I don't trust drs one bit, I pull the ''I'm taking some new stuff from gnc'' if I want to bring up something related to my steroid use . That medical information follows you around forever no need to chance it unless you absolutely feel you have to, that being said there is no way I would drain any type of abcesses at home. That's just a strange thing to start a thread with pretty creepy.

Lol in all that posting nobody mentioned that bit until now

That part of his post was correct. draining an abscess at home is not a good idea but you don't have to spill your guts about the details of how it got there. It really doesn't matter at that point. You have an infection that needs treatment. My guess is most ER docs would have a good idea about how it got there when a bodybuilder comes in with an abscess. All you'd have to do is smile and shrug.

Ya, until I run your blood work. Lmao.

If I had a dollar for every time I have heard the B12 excuse, I'd won't two homes instead of one.

You're going to have to do better than that!
