I have suffered from low test levels for a while however my levels normal for Doctors. I have No sex drive at all as well as No energy. I'm pretty active at the gym so that is one of my goals but most of all is havinga sex life with my wife and Not to mention having energy to play with kids... I have read up but couldn't find the difference between the different kinds of Test. .. I was thinking 500mg once a week. What would be my best choice. Also taking some anti estrogen along with as well with the pct. . But was thinking about running a low dose of test inbetween and Not really coming off.. thoughts

Not experienced enough to give much advice other than injecting twice a week at 250 mg being better.

whats your age? you also have to know what type of test you are using to get the dosage. have you tried test boosters? if you are dead set on doing it try it at a novice dose, too much will cause a lot of side effects.

I'm 31 I been working out since HS... just enough to stay in shape... I'm 205lbs 6ft. I lost my last BW results I'm doing another panel at the end of the month I'll post it up. .. test boosters don't work I know from experience... not sure what ng\dl is.. couldn't look back to see the actual name... yea finding a new dr is next on my list.. I really don't want to self medicate. Figure if I'm gonna do it might as well get some gains from it

Psycho take the time and find the right doctor who will find the cause of your issue. Many things cause low T from Hypothyroidism to pathologies, trauma, elevated cortisol and prolactin can impact it as well. Don't just band aid the problem with test. And do not take test booster as referenced above. Most all test boosters or pro-hormones can/will suppress your natural testosterone levels .

There's a good list of what BW to get in the HRT Forum's Finding A Doc sticky thread.

    exactly

and psycho: if by saying "while however my levels normal for Doctors" you mean that your levels are actually normal but you disagree because of the symptoms you think you have, then you might not even have low T. Many other things can affect energy and sex life, including various endocrine issues and depression.

^^^Follow this advice. Get the "low T" properly evaluated and a treatment plan worked out before you start self medicating anything.

Your dr just needs to be willing to submit a pre authorization deeming that your treatment is medically needed.

Typical TRT starts off at 200mg every week. You should really do your BW to see where your at. Estrogen, total Test, Free test, PSA, Vitamin D and prolactin are some of the basic to review your levels prior to TRT.

Its weird I'm not sure what's my doctors deal. .. he must not want to help me out I think I'm just another number to him.. every month and a half he just keeps ordering new blood work. He gave me meds for my thyroid nothing happen gave me meds for anxiety thinking this would help nothing happen. Is trial and error the way to go. I have BW coming at end of month I'll see where I'm at again and see what's his plan... if its just pushing meds, I'm out and I'll get the right dr
