triptorelin for fixing severe shut down

Hello ..
A friend of mine told me that triptorelin is used for treating severe shut down.. One shot of this triptorelin might bring back healthy test levels in weeks.
Seems like so good to be true, I never heard about triptorelin before this day but I checked on Wikipedia and I understood that what I was told might be true.

Update: as I'm reading more about it, I see it's a medication to help in prostate cancer, so it's eventually working by suppressing test production , then I came across this :
