    Starting Early???

    Hey guys,

So everyone is in agreement that starting a cycle under 18 is crazy. But from peoples opinions, what do you think is the most "ideal" time to start. Anyone regret starting earlier than they actually did?? Anyone wish they started earlier??

I think it would good to find out what people think.

I started at 17 and stopped at 20. My body crashed so hard I lost everything I gained and more plus at 20 years old the last thing I wanted was no sex drive and erectile problems. I was uneducated and stupid and it took my body years to get back to normal. I started again at 30 after I did my best to educate myself and be smart about what I'm doing and not just taking anything I can get my hands on.

I would have thought that as well. you would think by then, if you've been training consistently for a number of years, natural gains would come to a stop.....also natural test levels are starting to decrease.

Although these days the average age seems to be about 20!

Well when i started the thread, i wasn't thinking about pros. i think it goes without saying, anyone who plans on going pro is going to start much younger. just wondering what the "average" user started at

You're ridiculous..... You think everybody should start juicing as teenagers? Brilliant.

If you know what you're getting yourself into and are going to accept the outcome of your cycle and any future damage, then do what you want.

By any chance are you 20 or under?

I know when I was a teenager I would drive drunk and blow loads in girls all the time. Thank god I didn't kill anyone or knock some girl up. Same mentality these kids put to aas, hope you all come back in ten years all messed up to warn other youngsters of how serious endocrine suppression is.

Listen bud I see you have a hard on for policing, so keep at it we do need to warn people. Wait until you're thirty you say? That's just silly. and where, anywhere in my post history for the last year and a half, have I EVER COME CLOSE to suggesting a teenager do steroids, can you answer that for me?? I can...I haven't. So, the good answer to OP would be the response Marcus 300 posts, which is there is no age, safe age is anecdotally quoted as 25, as most people will be fully developed hormonally by then. Don't wish for people to get hurt either, quite unbecoming. And I'm 28 so I'm no kid

First of all, don't be starting this "not if you want to be a pro" shit. You know how many guys are out there training hard every day? Guess how many of them have the potential to be a pro? Subjecting one's self to the very real permanent risks of using gear at a young age for a pipe-dream is asinine.

Even if they do have the potential, it'd be worth it for them to wait until their body has finished developing. In that time, they can make some accomplishments naturally. Hell, there are a lot of natural competitions out there. They can easily be competing in those in the interim.

Most of the kids that I see on here don't know how to diet or train very well (despite what they say). Encouraging them to take steroids isn't going to fix those problems.

This is just a hobby for virtually all of us with the exception of a very slim few. It's not worth potentially ruining your body and being on HRT for the rest of your life at a young age.

25 seems to be the standard however, unless you have a firm grasp and understanding on dieting and training it won't matter if you juice at 25 or 35, you are likely to loose everything you worked for. Eating to maintain muscle is the key factor to success after cycle.

Relax kong no need to swear at someone. OKAY, you are both right, very few people turn pro, that isnt EXACTLY what i meant, what i should have said is just the "its ridiculous" part. There are people who make money from this despite not being a pro, 2 people in my local area own gyms and obv get their clients based on their notoriety, and that is facilitated by them competeing. and my close friends buddy got a sponsorship from a supplement company and theres videos of him online on their site he gets paid it looks awesome (i dont know him and frankly he looks young, im not gonna name him and encourage the younger members)

tl;dr sorry ignore the pro thing, you still dont need to be thirty.......and kong, once again, ive never come close to suggesting teens use aas, ive never even suggested an AGE, i had simply said thirty is ridiculous

Ok, I kinda knew that there was no definitive starting age...cause everyone has different experiences and situations. but I mainly wanted to see if anyone regretted starting earlier. But I guess it's mainly people who would have regretted starting before they knew more about juicing, than actually starting too early in age??

I did my first too early. Regret it very much. The sides were more intense than they had to be and recovery was harder than it should have been. If I could go back in time I wouldn't do it again.

And I did lots of research, knowledge wasn't the issue.
