Liquidex by itself? new to all of this, and question on dosage. Thanks!

I've been lifting for over 25 years and am very into fitness, mainly bicycling and some lifting but I'm new to taking anything to "assist" my workout program so any advice is appreciated.
I ordered some liquidex and after reading on this forum I'm wondering if it will help just taken by itself, seems like a lot of people take this in addition to other steroids. I'm not looking to get much bigger, mainly loose body fat and some muscle gains too. I'm 53 and and felt this will help get my goals. I eat very well, and work out 5 to 6 days a week but the body fat seems much harder to get rid of these days...

Also on dosage, I've read .50 everyday and I've seen .25 every other day. what do you guys recommend?

    thanks!

are you doing this in hopes of raising your testosterone?...what exactly is your goal?...it wont raise it high enough to make a diffence and will be short lived...your best bet would be clen or albuterol for weight loss..and obviously a clean diet and cardio...

That is correct to both. My goals are mainly to loose body fat and some muscle gains. I'm not looking to get huge at all. I'm already happy with my size.
So using liquidex won't help on it own for is what you guys are saying?

I did try clen a few years ago that a friend gave me and if I recall it made me feel weird, I don't like feeling different. is there anything that doesn't effect the way we feel? Is that just part of the deal?

    thanks guys!

    Moto,

Taking Arimidex (liquidex) by itself would be a bad idea. The primary use of this drug is to treat estrogen receptor positive (ER+) breast cancer. It's use in fitness, body building, and TRT is off label use to reduce aromatization of testosterone to estrogen.

Moreover, you need to understand that the hormones in your body regulate a number of natural functions (sleep, wakefulness, mood, appetite, digestion, sex drive, erectile function, memory, immune system function....and more). You cannot expect to manipulate these hormones with drugs and not have them effect one or more of these necessary functions.

As Kronik eluded, have an MD run a full blood diagnostic panel that includes a complete hormone assay (with male sensitive E2 screening). If your testosterone levels are below normal age adjusted cut off ranges, then testosterone replacement therapy may hold the key to feeling and looking better.

Do NOT take Arimidex on its own please.

    To MuscleInk,

Thank you for your feed back, I really appreciate it. It sure seems like a lot of work (and money for blood work) to do this right. I actually feel very good, healthy sx drive, very good energy, mood, sleep and all these things you mention. I don't think I have low T. I guess I looking for something that will help me with body fat and a little muscle too. I've always struggled with body fat, but size has come easy. I'm not fat, but would like to be leaner of course like everyone else. I eat very healthy and am pretty intense in the gym.
So I guess what I'm asking what do you recommend for helping burn fat and give me a little mass without getting into a big process? Is there something or somethings you could recommend to boost these areas a bit without looking like I'm juicing, prefer a more natural look.

    thanks for any feedback!

Do you know what your TDEE is? This will tell you your "maintenance calories" (i.e. the number of calories you should eat to maintain your body weight). If you want to reduce body fat and lean out, you need to drop your daily caloric intake to at least 500 calories below your TDEE. Adding 30-60 mins of cardio to a caloric deficit strategy will help reduce bf.

Thermogenics are another option but have risks and side effects as well. I'd start with adjustments to your daily nutrition plan if you want to see a loss of bf and leaner physique.

I think that will be my best approach. I've been doing a lot od cardio the last few months and have lost about 10 lbs so it seems to be the best way to get leaner. when I ordered the liquidex I also got some thermogenics so I think I'll start adding those and just see how I feel. I really don't know my TDEE and I am so busy with my business I really don't have time to get so into it so I think I'll have to use my intuition for diet. I'm 5'11" and 210 lbs right now and I would guess around 25 to 30% bf so I think i'm on the right track.
If I wanted to try a little juice is there something to help a bit (hence why I bought the liquidex) that doesn't involve lots of blood work and just help a little with my mass? I'm kind of interested in trying something without getting to big or looking like I'm juicing, just a personal thing, not into that look.

    thanks again!
