Boosting with Small Doses of Testosterone

I'm 18 years old and I stick to a good workout plan and a good diet but I'm having trouble putting on muscle. Despite intaking large amounts of protein and lots of calories, I can't really get any bigger.
At 18 Im not done growing yet and the last thing I want to do is stunt my growth. I have access to androgel and I was thinking if I applied 150mg per week it would increase my test levels but not screw with my endocrine system because its such a low dose. Am i correct in thinking this or would even a small amount of testosterone have negative side effects?

    Thank you!

Go back to the other thread. Follow the nutrition section. Leave your dad's androgel alone

You don't need anything other than food. Any exogenous testosterone will suppress your neuroendocrine system.

    Eat, eat, eat and repeat.

You also said you train 3 days a week. You need to train a little harder than that.

Go EAT. When you're not eating, Go TRAIN. When you're not training, GO EAT AGAIN!

Thank you! I appreciate your advice. I think I'll stick to a good diet and workout plan.
Because I'm fairly small it's hard for me to eat enough to get as many calories as i need every day. I was thinking about buying a high calorie mass builder from GNC, what do you think? Any suggestions? How many calories do you think I should take in every day?

I know it sounds hard, but your stomach stretches and the more you eat, the more you will be able to eat in the future. I have had points in my life where I couldnt eat 1/3 of what I eat at other times. As you eat more and more, your stomach will allow you to take more and more in. Even though you might feel full this does not mean this is your personal limit. You can increase how much you eat and will then be able to grow faster.
    Good luck.

I have very little confidence in mass builders. They are loaded with sugars and do little more than promote water retention and fat.

Your TDEE is your Total Daily Energy Expenditure. The simplest way to think about TDEE is that it defines the caloric intake needed daily to remain at the present body weight. There are formulas to calculate it but the simplest is LBM x 15, where LBM is your weight MINUS your body fat. Here's an example.

    Suppose a 200lb male has 20%bf.

    200 x .20 = 40lbs of FAT.

    LBM = 200-40 = 160lbs

TDEE = 160 x 15 = 2400 (approximately). This means a 200lb male with 20%bf eating 2400 calories per day would not see a gain in LBM (muscle) or a drop in bf.

To grow, you need to calculate your TDEE and eat 500-800 calories above that every day.....and train hard in the gym.

I was exactly like you. I couldn't gain for the life of me. I would eat when I was still stuffed from my last meal. I'd force as much down as much as I could. Just like Oki said. It will get easier. You also need to train more. Constantly eat clean. Train hard and you'll start seeing the results that your looking for. Post up a meal plan in the nutritional section and they will help you dial in your diet

There is no easy way as you were told in thread earlier. At 18 you do not need any "test boosters" nor should you even be thinking about running a cycle

Buy a good protein powder, mix two scoops with one cup of blended up oats. And add that to your diet plan. He'll add a couple if you have hard time putting on weight. What muscleink said earlier find your ttde.

^^^great idea. Shakes can make up a lot of calories when done correctly. When I bulk, I usually mix
    - 1 scoop of protein powder
    - 1/2 cup of egg whites
    - 1 cup rolled oats
    - 8 table spoons of Greek plain unsweetened yogurt
    - 1 banana
    - 1-2 cups of unsweetened plain almond milk
    - 1 tablespoon of peanut butter or almond butter
    - 2 tablespoons of olive oil

There are a lot of variations on shakes. You don't need to buy weight gainer shakes - they're junk anyway. Get on Google or Bing and search "protein shake recipes" or "smoothie recipes" (you can add your own protein powder to smoothies too!!!) and you'll find a ton of suggestions.

Be creative. It's not hard to eat the calories, you just have to think about it differently because most people outside of body building do not know how to eat properly to grow.

Forget that shit, their mass builders have way too much sugar in them. In fact forget supplements, just get your ass in the kitchen and cook. You don't even have to eat that much at once. put the food in tupperware and eat at little bit every hour or so of the day. You'd be surprised how much food you'll get down in you eat with a plan.
