High Blood Pressure
33yo, 5'11" 192@14%
3 weeks into cycle, Blood Pressure @ 142/88
Need to worry? Anything to do to decrease?
Pre blood panels fine except high sodium. Most likely from PWO's, Creatine, supps etc...
Didn't check BP pre cycle.
Diet 40/40/20 about 70% clean
On cycle no PWO's or supps except Creatine/caffeine
Test E 600/1-14
Dbol 50/2-5
hCG 500/3-PCT
Adex .50 EOD/1-14

142/88 is borderline hypertensive, I'm usually about the same if I use EQ or Drol in a cycle. Decrease your sodium intake. PWO and creatine shouldn't affect sodium levels. Increase your water intake, take a baby asprin once a day to thin your blood, Garlic is said to help. Your increase in red blood cells has probably caused the BP spike. If you get up to 155-160/90-95 see a doc for some prescription help

5mg of liquid Cialis twice per day is a big help. Vascular dilation lowers BP. I also use arginine and take hawthorne berry while on cycle.

A systolic of 142 puts you in a hypertensive category. You would not be pre hypertensive in my clinic as proposed above. It's likely secondary hypertension but nonetheless, left untreated it increases risks for hypertensive heart disease and various artery diseases.
Cialis, arginine, citruline are three items that will help control HTN. If these don't help, a Rx from your MD would be necessary.
Get your lipids checked too. Anabolics and AIs will affect your lipid metabolism, driving up your LDL and your HDL down. These are risks factors for hypercholesterolemia and peripheral artery disease.

BP now 157/91
I'm buying everything I need now.
Arginine, hawthorn, citruline and baby aspirin.
Anyone to recommend dosages on those?
I'm dropping Dbol ASAP and cutting all sodium to monitor over the next few days.

Tried all that stuff ^^ nothing really worked for me. BP went up to the 180's.
Went to the doc.
Exforge: Angiotensin 2 Receptor Blocker, Dihydropyridine Calcium Channel Blocker
Bystolic: Beta Blocker
Which one is better on cycle? Or does it matter?

that seems kinda odd, Any doc who gives you samples when you come in with a systolic of 180 well... doesn't seem right. Ask muscle ink about this. More his line of knowledge than mine

Its common for a doc to have samples of BP meds if they are newer and the doctor is a big writer of their (pharma) drugs. The Beta Blocker can really lower your sex drive but so can all BP meds. When are you taking these BP reading and what is your position? Sitting/standing/laying? Are they true resting resting BP measurement? Be careful when you get up at night to use the bath room. You can get Orthostatic hypotension which is like a head rush from standing up to quickly. Make sure you sit up in bed, then stand up and then head to the bathroom. I have seen a lot of people come into the hospital due to falling / passing out from getting up fast to use the bathroom. Hopefully this is due to gear and not a long term thing. Keep stress low and monitor your BP several times a day. You can get a home BP machine cheap on Amazon.

I have a nice BP machine. Thanks for the advice at night getting up. From what the doc says, exforge works overnight while bystolic is more of a fast acting. I took the Bystolic and it dropped me down to 139 in 2 hrs. He will write my script for what I feel is working better. I'm sure both will work. But because I didn't mention my cycle, I wasn't sure what was better? Beta Blocker or an A2 receptor blocker.
Taking lots of readings throughout the day. Calm, sitting down, palm up.

I have no idea which is better, that is a question for a doctor to answer or comment on that. I think an A2 blocker can help some people lose weight but don't quote me on that one. I have seen that a lot of doctors will start a person on a Beta blocker. Your still young and when you through in AAS I would not know where to go with this. I can say that Beta blockers also help with stress which are also an off label use. Is there a history of HTN in your family?
Oh on the baby aspirin I take two 81 mg at night. I grew up in a doctors family and I started taking aspirin (asa) before I was 30. Now studies have shown that 2 asa at bedtime are the best (sorry no source). I also take fish oil as well and have for years due to nagging from the doctors in my family.

Also Gold i would suggest maybe bringing the test E to 500mg from 600mg.And of course throwing cardio in your workout at least 30 minutes after.Ive been thru this high blood pressure bs and it really pisses me off but I end up tweaking my cycle because health is most important.
