    Cycle information?

    Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum but have been gaining as much knowledge as possible over the last year. I havent done to much research on cycles because my diet wasn't good at all so I want to get the correct before even thinking of getting on a cycle.

About two years ago I got diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I was fortunate to beat it and now have been recovering since. For the past year I have been on a strict diet and lifting/cardio. I now feel that I'm eating more and working out harder with no results. That's what has brought me to this forum.

    Current diet-

    Breakfast -
K cereal with 2% milk, two eggs, protein bar
Others- chicken breast, protein shake, blended veggie shake.

Mid morning - protein shake and some sort of fruit or veg.

Lunch- turkey/chicken breast/ham sandwich on either omega 3 or multigrain bread.
Others- kale and spinach salad with chicken breast chunks, carrots, celery, flake seed, sunflower seeds, egg, cheese glazed nuts with a vinaigrette.

Mid day- protein shake and a veggie or fruit with a peanut butter sandwich

Dinner- fish or lean beef with rice, steamed veggies
Other- sushi, salads, bake potatoes ect.

Obviously this diet gets mixed and match through out each week depending on my mood lol. Always eating snakes in between. I have been on this diet for the past 6 months.

I lift m/w/f/s with cardio on either the days a lift or days off. I'm 38yo 5'10 180.

Now that I have my diet somewhat in check I wanted to find a good cycle that would help me gain strength and put on a little more mass. Do a pct and then lean out. I'm not trying to compete or anything like that. Just simple maintenance. I was thinking of the following cycle.

    Test/d-Bol/anavar

I'm hope someone can give me some advice on where I should go from here. I hope I gave enough information but if you need more please let me know.

    Thanks in advance!

How were you thinking of taking the Test/DBol/Var?

My guess would be Test 12 wks, dbol 4 wks, var 8 weeks.......thats 12 weeks of orals..

Imho I think 2 orals during any cycle are too much

If you have you heart set on something to kickstart your cycle I would use Test P

Then var for the last 8 weeks 50-100mg ed

If this is your first cycle look at doing just the Test E only, diet will dictate your results but......you will lose fat whilst gaining muscle on the cycle regardless of what you do

From there you will know how your body acts on a particular substance and how to control its side effects without having all kinds of chemicals thrown in the mix

You really need to find out your TDEE and work from there. If you've stopped gaining, its because you aren't eating enough food. What is your bodyfat %?

Thanks for the info. I was thinking that mix just from threads that I read and what I'm trying to achieve. I agree I'm not to keen on taking Orals that long either. Just want to be as safe as possible. I just beat cancer don't want to have go through another big issue. Maybe just test e to start then? How long and how much per injection would you recommend? Thanks.

I would say my TDEE would be somewhere around 3000 to 3500. That's my other problem. Eating more than I already am is hard. Looking at my daily meals what do you recommend. Are you talking adding a couple more protein bars or adding another meal? Thanks

You want to get as much of your calories from whole food. I'm not a big fan of protein bars. I also use powders sparingly. Cut out the cereal and replace with some complex carb.

It can be a hassle, but you need to log your actual calories per day. If you don't eat enough to support the new muscle tissue, you will just lose everything after your cycle is complete.

Exactly what I was looking for. I will change up a few things this week and incorporate some of your recommendations.

So at this point it looks like with the current diet I'm on I will be doing a test only cycle but I would also like to lean out. I know the test will do this but would incorporating maybe winstrol with it be a good idea to create lean muscle mass.
