On going acne so long after deca and test cycle over 7 months :( HELP

i am 27 years old prior to this i did a test cycle a year before this which only resulted in mild acne that went away after pct, ok here my story now.

I did test e 250mg weeks 1-18 and deca 700mg per week for 1-16 weeks ran hcg throughout and pct properly. I got severe back and chest acne near the end of cycle and got worse and worse after coming off, i went to a derm and got on accutane 80 mg a day, i have been on it for 6 months and still getting acne - the accutane has cleared my acne 70-80% but its still fighting the accutane.

This is mind boggling, why the hell am i still getting acne so long after stopping the cycle, its been 7 months since my last injection of test and deca. I got bloods done a few months back for testosterone and estrogen they are both in healthy ranges and i seem to be fully recovered (str gains and libido energy are fine),

So this makes no fing sense.

My theories -1. the steroids enlarged the sebum glands and they have not shrunk after discontining the steroids, therefor accutane is needed.

2.Or hormones are not right, but how can this be after getting my tests back in healthy ranges? Ive done a test only cycle prior to this and only got minor acne, so im thinking deca is the main culprit? Maybe prolactin is causing the acne? Since deca can be detected in your body up to 18 months maybe the side effects can still be in effect? raised prolactin/acne I have not got prolactin tested maybe its worth a look, thoughts?

This shit has messed with my life, and i feel i cant move on with my life until i get this acne taken care off, so its all i think about and it worrys me, i should have been clear after 6 months of accutane at 80mg .

I seen a guy on here with the same problem HHstorm, but dont know if he even goes on this forum anymore, i really wanted to get hold off him to see if he cured his acne and found out the cause.

Any help or oppinions will be appreciated thank you.

Relax, I have been there before. The exact same thing happened to me a few years ago when I took Deca and Test but took too high of a dose of Deca and too low of a dose of test. A lot of people debate on how much test and deca to take but in order for me to avoid the acne I have to take doulble the test than I do deca. But everyone's sensitivity is different. I would put good money on it being a hormone problem, you said your T levels were fine but what about your estrogen? I had acne for quite some time after my cycle too but eventually it will subside as long as your hormones recover properly, assuming that is the culprit.

Austinites sticky on Acne cures is really legit.... Had insane bacne even off cycle, and it's improved tremendously

Accutane will probly clear all my acne up eventually, but considering im still getting acne means the root cause is still active.

accutane is like a bandaid it covers up the problem but doesnt fix the root cause, something is causing my sebum glands to produce oil that gives me acne, accutane is just shrinking the oil glands so it cant produce the oil.

I thought deca didnt convert to estrogen but prolactin, like i said little acne on test, major acne on deca/post deca.

Do you have a copy of the blood work? Sometimes being in range can still cause side effects if it is on the low or hgh end of what is considered "normal."

my face use to be clear and then i took roids..now off it..it clears but it seems every week it comes back and disappears by friday only to come back again on monday..it seems to be in sync with my pinning...except i haven't pinned for four months.
I feel i activated some type of pathway..that makes me now supsetible to acne.

i heard if the liver is toxic..you need to clean it..eg beet juice.. also probiotics.. to clear the bad bacteria of the gut...

I wish i never touched roids, i could have been able to deal with a bit of acne, but **** me this was to much, so unfair. If this shit eventually clears i will never touch them again.

Clomid is what gives me acne. Try tanning, zinc, ance body scrubs, wear a shirt to bed, so oils dont dirty your sheets

Depending on where you live swim in pools often ( clorien helps ) the ocean is better ( salt water)

Just a heads up on otc soaps and creams. If u are trying diff products? Ive wasted so much $$$ on diff brands, and combos and after a few years ive found that a simple Nuetrogena bar cleared 99% of acne. And out of all the topical creams, try to find one with Sulfer as the active ingredient. 7-8%. Just my .02 Good luck
