    first test e cycle questions

Hey im 26,5'6 75kg and have been training for a few years.
Ive just started my first test e cycle.
    Cycle consists of:
    Week 1-12-test e at 400mg per week.
    Weeks 1-14(stop 4 days prior to pct)-hcg at 250ius 2x per week.
Weeks 1-14- arimidex at .25 eod?
    Weeks 10-13- hcgenerate
    Weeks 15-18-clomid and nolvadex

I was wondering what everyones thoughts are on arimidex. Is it a good idea to take it at .25 eod and adjust according. Or only use it if I get bloated and want to control it?
At which point should I stop the arimidex? Ive read elsewhere its best to stop the day before pct?
Last question. Ive read elsewhere that its best to stop hcg 4 days before pct and just wanted to confirm this.
    Your guidance is greatly appreciated.

.25mg EOD of adex is a good starting point, not as needed. The half life of Adex is around 48 hours I believe, just a tad under, so 1-3 days before PCT is fine. four days before PCT is good for HCG too, that is what a lot of people, including me, do.

I'd say ditch the hcgenerate. Save that money for something else.

Thanks for the guidance fellas. Yea I bought the hcgenerate due to possibly not being able to get the hcg. Now I have everything on hand and figured I would run it anyways. I realise it probably does very little.
    Cheers.

Stop your hcg at wk12 with the test and stop your adex the day before pct starts.

Hey clarky, thanks for your advice. Whats the logic behind stopping the hcg at week 12? Ive read different things online and alot of people seem to up the hcg dosage straight after the last test inj and stop 4 days prior to pct. Im not saying this is the correct way to do things however they did state their logic as to why they do it this way. Being new to this I am trying to learn the best way of doing things and why.
    Cheers

I forgot to ask in my last post. When do you guys generally start to notice any effects from test e. Libido, bloat, increased strength or size/weight etc? I realise this probably varies quite a bit from one individual to the next.

4-6 weeks but this will depend more on eating beyond your TDEE. If you under feed, you won't see the results you expect.

You'll probably start to feel something around the end of week 3, but it isn't really noticeable for me until about week 5. Ditto what MuscleInk sais on diet. Diet is the key to everything and is the hardest part. Anybody can kick ass in the gym for a few hours a week. The hard part is eating enough and eating right all day every day.

On HCG, the old idea was to blast it at the end of a cycle to force the testes to begin producing testosterone again just prior to PCT. The newer wisdom, and I think the idea most prevalent here is to reduce / eliminate atrophy from the outset. The idea being that the best way to fix something is not to have it broken in the first place (kinda like using an AI to prevent gyno rather than to stop or reverse it). If you have been using HCG all along, you don't need to blast it to get a restart. Blasting HCG at the end of a cycle just prevents your body from beginning the process of naturally causing the testicles to do the job on their own. Austinite has a much more scientifically-correct way of saying it; but that is the general idea.

Good luck with your cycle. Good call sticking with Test only and keeping it simple.
