I have low t,Why does the testosterone gel testim not work for me??
what could be the reasons ???My levels just drop lower and lower when i am on it..It dont have no effect on my levels......dr even up the dose and it still did nothing..I was on testosterone injection which brought my levels up really fast and i was feeling good,but then my bp got real high ,so did my estrogen,which that is a easy fix,also my blood started to get thick,so that is why he took me off the testosterone injection...I try to tell the dr that i was on the gel before and it did nothing for me,but he still put me bk on the gel,he put me on testim instead of the androgel that you see on tv.....IDK WHAT TO DO...I just dont know why the gel dont work..I put it on the inside of my leg...I do shave that area.......Thanks

Your dr is a joke. Start looking for a new one he is clueless.
Injections work best. A true protocol includes an anti estrogen such as anastrozole, HCG to maintain testicular function and donation of blood to control rising red blood cell count. It's about balance.
How is your diet? Do you do cardio? Are you overweight? Family history of high BP? All these are contributing factors.

The same reason it doesn't work for a large percentage of men. Not everyone absorbs transdermals well.

Thanks everyone....Yeah i hate the freaking gel,i have to put it all over my body,everyday,I have to make sure my kids dont touch it...plus it dont work for me...yeah i always had high bp,but not this high......when you say donate blood is the monthly or???

Just saying... I mean you are not getting a good HRT protocol through your doctor and I think it's owned by the same guy who owns this site.

There might be different regulations per state, but usually its once every 8 weeks you can donate.

Yes for most states its once every 8 weeks for whole blood donations or once every 120 days for double red blood cell donation

I NEVER have liked anything transdermal. The absorbtion rate is often POOR and messy,,stinky,,irritates the skin.
Ask your doc for a script of injectable TEST.
