Lost and confused

I am so confused on these forums with legit vs. not. Every one seems different. The more research I do, the more confused and lost I seem to feel. Did you guys go through any of this or am I going about it all wrong? I am not looking for a source, maybe just a little support/encouragement. Any advice is appreciated!

we don't discuss these type of things as it smacks of fishing. that is asking for a source. If I read between the lines of what you are saying, it appears this is what you are doing

....I had a local guy (your source)
but he moved (my source is gone)
and I am lost (I need to find another source)

welcome. i suspect that most of us have been there. Stick around and learn. This is a good forum.

Yes, we all felt that way at one point. Read everything you can get your hands on. That will mean reading some things that are contradictory and some things that are flat out wrong.

Find the Vets on here and listen to what they have to say. They not only have technical knowledge but first hand experience. Remember that the source of the information is often more valuable than anything else.

But we've all been there. Don't get frustrated.
