What the hell is the purpose of darting an injection?

Ive always eased the pin in. Am I in the minority here?

I believe people do it to try and look cool in an attempt to impress their friends.

I pretty much dart them... I don't raise my hand up and slam it in or anything. I hold the rig like a pencil about a inch away from target and push it in with one quick movement.
I do it this way because if I hit a nerve or vein then I just go thru it and continue my injection.
If you go slow as soon as you hit the nerve you stop, scream and pull it out. Now you have to stick your self again and hope not to do the same.
Just a preference I guess but that is the method for my madness.

    This is true

But, when she does this I have had muscle spasms. She hit a nerve once and I almost popped her in the mouth

I hit a nerve this morning, it twitched a little but I just pushed through it

But, I do strongly doubt it makes a difference. It's just preference IMO

Just seeing the needle coming at me full speed looks scurry

I stick mine quick and easy, once I start forward it's to the barrel baby not slamming but not slow either. When my wife sticks me it's the same way. I don't ever have any pip unless the compound has alittle too much alcohol in it. And then never more than a few minutes. I think as long as you are steady and don't shake around during injection either way is fine. It's what ever you are comfortable with. I don't inject in front of my friends (weird) so I don't hit it fast to show off (not that I wouldn't if I thought I could haha hate to miss any opportunity showing off that is hahaha) it just the way I learned and the wsy it works best for me.

Slow and steady wins the race for me. I have gone faster...hit a nerve and nearly jumped out of my skin. I think it's a matter of preference.

I pick my spot..position needle...close eyes..push. Like sex with an ugly woman. Not too fast because you lose focus..not too slow because why the F do you want to make it last any longer than it has to.
