    Question Test E & Heartburn - Correlation?

Maybe bit of a weird question, but figured I would throw it out there...

On my 5th week of test-e and recently starting getting heartburn. I have NEVER had heart burn in my life until now, is there any correlation?

Hormones regulate many functions in your body. Sleep, wakefulness, appetite, cognition, libido, immune system function, digestion, and more. Increase or decrease normal hormone level and you can disrupt normal functions.

Increased gastric motility can occur with anabolics but increased protein intake will also change the acidity/pH of your GI tract.

I get it once in a great while. Rolaids do nothing for me. Only a couple of things work. A spoonfull of backing soda in some juice or water and OTC safeway brand antacid tablet, not chewable.

It's a bit of a trial and error. Start with OTC products (H2 blockers, Tagamet, Pepcid AC, Zantac). If those don't help, switch to proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) such as Prilosec, Prevacid, Protonix, Nexium. The PPIs are stronger but take 3-5 days to reach an effective concentration to deliver intended effects and have a greater rebound/withdrawal risk when discontinued.

Add pro and prebiotic supplements to your nutrition to help maintain healthy stomach flora and this will help in managing your dyspepsia.

MuscleInk... Thanks big cat, appreciate the help/input.

Just awfully coincidental, good to know this could be the root cause.

No problem. Let me know if those suggestions help or not.

Are you taking any oral supplements? May also be the cause

Oral? Just Adex... Was at 0.5mg EOD, however, switched to 0.25mg EOD as I was feeling lethargic.
