The secret to the success of a pro bodybuilder is made before he even steps foot on this earth. It's bone structure muscle shape and insertion points, the ability to handle side effects from steroids , mental determination, intelligence, what race they are, and if they are born into a life with enough money to support body building.
You can pump a poodle full of steroids and he is still a poodle and he will never be as big as a pit bull. I at one point in my life thought I was a pit bull and decided to pump myself full of a lot of stuff with hopes of giant muscle gains. And I quickly learned its not just your natural size or shape but your ability to tolerate steroids and other important "PED's". If you have all the genetic strong points from "PED" tolerance to shape and size. All that is left is determination, will power, and the ability to fund the life style. The life of a pro bodybuilder to be honest comes at a price though. I would never recommend to any one to take enough of the necessary "stuff" to try and pull it off.Last edited by Mad-scientist; 06-03-2014 at 03:59 PM. Reason: spelling

Generation Iron.... Just add Gear to everything you learn there, and BOOM. Lol. If you don't had the genes you can't pull it off. You can have the same dimensions as Cutler, the same cycle, the same diet, the same training, and still be the one who receives a participation trophy on stage. It's either In your blood or not.

First off theres no ****ing secret. What makes a pro a pro? dedication. How many hours they spent in the gym, how many hours spent preparing and eating the food and counting macros and waking up at 5 am for cardio when theyre already lean. Its the attention to detail they give to their body and how it responds to certain excercises and food. Genetics important? Sure for the Olympia, But any joe with shitty genetics can add a ton of muscle and get lean enough to have a "body builder" look.
