Well I guess saying hello first would be good.

I'm new to the site, 32 yr old guy who is looking to start my first cycle. I have friend who suggested Tren and Test.

I have had 1/2 of my thyroid taken out because of cancer. I take 175 mg Levothyroxine for my thyroid. I'm concerned about the impact synthetics would have on it.

Does anyone have any suggestions or can clear my concerns up?

Do not listen to your "friend" do a lot of reading and research on your own before running anything. Tren should not be used on first cycle but you will find that with the research. I have thyroid issues also I take 250 mg of levothyroxine a day and running a cycle does effect it but in my case its not a huge amount but I am not a medical expert so one of the veterans would be able to answer that better.

AAS will suppress your natural levels of T3/T4. So if you have preexisting thyroid conditions you could experience a lot of lethargy while on cycle. There are ways to supplement your T3 levels however....how much you would need is not known tho. You would need blood work on and off cycle to figure out how far suppressed your thyroid has become.

Being that you only have half a thyroid in the first place, suppressing your already lowered T3 levels could make you feel like shit all the time while on cycle unless you figured out how much T3 you would need to maintain "normal" levels.

Thanks.... I have been told that Tren was not the best way to go. So that being said, what is a good first cycle, given my T3 information. I don't want to bulk but be cut and lean, with a really....really good base.

Test is best for a first cycle.

I personally do not have a problem with my levels changing while running test only but I don't know if that can change from person to person.
Blood work will be the only way you will know for sure.

If you're already on thyroid meds, there is no issue. Just do a standard test cycle.

what did you find out on the effects of steroid usage as it relates to cancer survivors?
