Even if cycling at a young age was side effect free... There's no way you're even close to reaching your full natural potential at 20 year old, and steroids are best used when you've reached it and wish to push that potential further. Too many people see steroids as a replacement for proper dietting and years of hard work in the gym. But on the contrary, you start using steroids when the art of dietting has already long been mastered...

    I need to get my post count up but;

    You haven't finished growing

You're no where near you natural potential

Your natural hormone production is already on fire

You risk screwing all of the above up big time

    Good luck

I'm sure everyone has read a post where people are telling younger guys they shouldn't be cycling because of their age.
But really what's the difference between starting a cycle when you're young then when you're in your mid 20s?
Are the sides effects more drastic in our younger years if we start cycling?

(don't link me to stickies, I've read them)

If you have read them then why are you asking? They spell it out quite clearly. Maybe your comprehension is lacking so go back and read a few more times until it becomes clear.

IMO you should def read "the youn and steroids " a couple more times... As this will for sure damage ur Enfocrine system which is on fire at 20 like IronBudda states above... Also, Lovbytes knows his Sh-- as I agree as I too, stated above! Research and research some more... By any means I'm not sayin I know everything as I'm learning ed still as one should! If taking the correct precautions while on a cycle, would your endocrine system still get damaged?

There isn't an exact age were we all stop developing and growing because this is determined by our genes and DNA, we are all genetically programmed individually and we inherit our genes from our parents. To give an exact age we stop growing would be incorrect because everyone's genetic blueprint is different. The main development of our bodies is up to the age of 21yrs of age but this can vary between individuals. There are parts of our bodies what carry on developing and adjusting slowly up until the age of 25yrs old, an example of this is the brain. The Endocrine system is a part of the brain what is very complex and keeps our bodies in a homeostasis state. Our testosterone levels start raising and roughly peak around 25yrs old and then start to slowly decline, so even though some of us may have stopped growing at the age of 21yrs old, others may still be developing up until the age of 25yrs old. I have recently spoken to my Endo regarding this matter and he tells me that the HPTA is very sensitive and as many pathways how it regulates the human body, he states steroids disrupt the normal balance of hormones in the body which can cause reversible and irreversible changes at any age but risks are far more if you administrate exogenous androgens during development, this will put you in a very unnatural environment at a crucial time and your hormones should be treated with care especially in the early stages of maturity. The adverse effects can be erratic behaviour of the HPTA and potentially therapy when your older. I did ask him what age he would think would be the safest as far as risk to damages and he said many endocrinologist suggest full maturation is reached by 25 years of age and this would also give the HPTA time to be established with your natural hormone balance and patterns. I personally feel 24-25yrs old would also be ideal starting point to get bloodwrok drawn to see exact what your natural levels are before starting any kind of cycles and waiting till you have reach your testosterone peak would be a good starting point, for me there is to much evidence over the forums and what I've seen personally over the last 25yrs I've been bodybuilding. Obviously it isn't going to be all 19- 21yr old bodybuilders who suffer side effects what are irreversible but I am edging on the side of caution what age I advice to the newbies. Marcus

A long time compared to a lifetime of Low T, having ED by the time you are 30 or fighting various health issues you never put 2+2 together figuring out you damaged your hpta? Oh to be so young and naive again. No thank you....

Guess what? There is life past 30 and if you dont start taking care of it now you are going to make it a long and miserable trip. You had better start using what little brains you have now before it's to late.

You want to make gains then start eating right and working out right. You have a sh*t load of information at your fingertips that was never available to a lot of us and you can make great gains by using the resources you have without any aas.

It's due to attitudes like your that when someone your age shows up most every day complaining of loosing all their gains, cant get it hard or have various other issues a lot of times we just LOL at first because we know they didnt listen just like you.

Well I will have to say the odds are in my favor because it's guys like you who wont listen and cant get it up so their girlfriends dumps them and I give them what they need/want. My future thanks to you and those like you.

You can not worry all you want, hell most guys your age dont worry. It's typical to have the attitude it wont happen to me. Again thank you and your ex girlfriend thanks me.

If you really really want to take the chance then go for it. Like I said, we see guys like you here every day asking for help and even more who are in their mid/late 20s in the HRT section looking for help due to low T, low libido etc. We aren't making this sh*t up, we dont have to. Start doing so reading of the other post and you will find plenty of examples.

I'm glad I didnt start at your age. I ALMOST did but some common sense kicked in at the last moment. You have been given all the facts, warning and information, now it's up to you to make a decision.

Yes there is a shit ton of information that we all have access to but taking the correct precautions, is it possible to safetly do a first cycle young WITHOUT ever worrying about irreversible side?
    No...........
    will you listen.....no
your 168lbs for gods sake and your here on the best web site going regarding aas and your asking guys who have been cycling longer than you have been alive and your still not listening to them. We do know a lot more than you.

Don't not shut down your hpta before its fully developed.

Kind of pointless in posting on your thread,

    you'll learn the hard

I feel like the OP absolutely believes that juicing is the right thing for him and came on the forum expecting people to encourage him in his belief. No one is going to encourage you to do that here bro.

Post a pic. Lets see these gains so far. I seriously want to see what a 16 year old looks like that's considering AAS. You are stereotypical of your generation. You don't want to put in the time and effort to grow. You simply want a short-cut out of a bottle that you know less than nothing about and are no where near the level physically, mentally or even maturity to do so.

I'll echo Marcus here, and say NO. You will always have to worry, and you will have to worry for a couple of years, because there are a lot of guys who don't have symptoms show up for quite a long period of time. Of course, they stop worrying a week after their cycle, because they're sure everything is fine, and then they worry a lot when they realise they have to explain to their girlfriend and parents why they look like they're on death's doorstep a year or two later and will need to be on medication for the rest of their lives.

I would seriously suggest that instead of researching cycles, you take a couple of days and look for the threads of young guys who cycled properly who now are desperate to know what to do because they are depressed and can't get it up. I have not been here a very long time, and I have seen a couple hundred probably. You could probably start by searching for the word "help" in the thread title, as that's what they often say. Or search for "ED" in the title, and if you read through the threads you will see it comes out that many of those posts are made by guys who cycled as teens.

Also consider that no one here as any personal interest in whether you cycle or not. It won't be us fretting when the symptoms start creeping in, it won't be us trying to figure out what to tell your endocrinologist, who will think you're fine if your levels are at the bottom of the range for men 20-80, because it's not common for young guys to have testosterone problems.

Ask yourself why we are spending our time trying to get you to think seriously about this and wait. We don't have any skin in the game: we are not competing for your jobs or women (except maybe Lovbyts, and he's probably not in the same city as you, thankfully ). We choose to answer your post with our own time because we have seen the results often enough to know that kids gamble in this important area all the time, and we see them again when they're regretting it. And consider that we watch all of this even when they can get diet help that will move them towards their goals with NO risk.

(Lastly, go to the nutrition forum and ask for an estimate of how many people who say their diet is 100% turn out to be correct.)

    I'll give you my experience!!

I was 20 years old when I first cycled and did 3 that year I believe...

    I did 2-3 cycles a year till around 24

Than @ 25 I would sleep like no tomorrow 10-14 hours a day, losing weight losing muscle, and fatigued all day long

@26 was diagnosed with Low test, doctor made me wait another year till I got on trt

Then it took a few years to get my hormone replacement therapy in check..

If I could go back I would, I am now 32 and do 2 injections a week to just feel normal!!
