Low dose testosterone and cardiac safety?
So I am about to start a cycle of test cyp. 250mg/wk. I just wanted to be sure that it would be safe after seeing all of these commercials about people dying from heart problems/strokes and what not.. I have for the last 5 years had heart palpitations. I have been to the dr multiple times and its always the same result. They can not find anything wrong. Nothing ever shows up on the ekg's, I have had multiple of them and nothing on a 24 hour holter either.I have even had the ekg with the ultrasound to make sure that the structure of my heart is fine and that it works properly. The doctor suggested it was most likely pvc's or pac's and advised me not to worry about them. So I typically just ignore them.
My question is, would running a low dose cycle like this have any negative cardiovascular implications? I have looked all over the web but all I can find are the heavily jaded news articles or articles swaying completely one side or the other. I just like to be cautious especially when it comes to things like this. Ive done all of this research on how to run this properly, counter side effects if they should occur and how to run a proper pct, so I just wanted to get this figured out before I finally start this. Thanks in advance.

Probably not the best idea in the world running a cycle with heart issues
Do u think its safe probably not, or u probs wouldnt be asking, ask yourself this, would it really be worth it worrying about it all the time on a cycle, then leading to panic attacks and further problems, common sense would tell me not to touch gear if i had heart palputationsLast edited by Matt007; 06-17-2014 at 08:15 PM.

not sure what to tell you mate. you are willing to shut down your own natty test production for only 250mg/week?
have you had blood panels yet? what are your test results?
You are only 23? I'm not going to hammer you for being too young, as you are right on the edge, but damn mate! what are you trying to do?
I think it's time to make a commitment. I understand the heart palpitations. But you need to ante up. Are you going to cycle, or not? And if you are, let's get real with a cycle that will actually do something.
Recommend doubling your proposed dose and start from there.

No I am 26. Yes, have had test levels checked on multiple occasions out of curiousity over the last couple years. Usually sits around 380 ng/dl.
My reason for only running 250mg a week, is because my lifting partner ran 250mg/wk and ended up gaining 18 lbs over 10 weeks on it. Ended up keeping 12 looking lean at the end. Im not looking to use the test as some miracle way to bulk up. Ive been lifting for 5 years now and have a solid understanding of diet and how playing around with it effects my body. I rely on diet and training to build my muslce. Im just looking for that little edge to enhance what Im already doing. Im not opposed to running 500mg a week, but from what I have seen 250mg a week has been sufficient. Plan on using hg not ugl btw.

And thanks guys for the quick replies.. I really appreciate it. As far as having heart issues, that is the thing... My pcp and cardiologist both said they could not find a single thing wrong with my heart. After ekgs, 24 hour moniter and ultrasound. He said I simply seem to notice what 90 percent of the population has and dont notice. Thats why I was asking here. They cant find anything wrong, I just feel a flutter every once in a while.

Do u suffer from anxiety, are you high strung ? There are numerous causes for palpitations . The stuff you here from people dying are usually related increased red blood cell count , and increased cholesterol, both of which can lead to heart attack and stroke . You need to have labs drawn to check all these things b4 u cycle , check your liver enzymes also. If the docs can't find anything wrong with you it's probrably anxiety , you would be surprised what the mind can do to the body. O and IMO 250mg is not enough you will barely be replacing your own test levels .

U should be ok unless U start using higher dosages ..I had a couple of nights waking up by hearts beating at 200 then it goes away but I was higher on dosage
Also if UR personality is a hyper type and under stress(work, family,ANYTHING)
U might not feeling it but under the lid it's brewing

heart palpitations are not a big deal IMO. I see them all the time. Why your "My pcp and cardiologist both said they could not find a single thing wrong with my heart. After ekgs, 24 hour moniter and ultrasound. He said I simply seem to notice what 90 percent of the population has and dont notice. Thats why I was asking here. They cant find anything wrong, I just feel a flutter every once in a while." say your fine, I would say you are fine.
I would not do such a low level of test for a cycle. your friend could have had a placebo effect. Your just going to shut down your own test production. Do some more research and read everything in this link like suggested. http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...-database.html

Dude! It's uncanny how similar my situation is with yours, besides my age. I'm prepping for my first cycle of 300mg/wk and have the exact same heart issue with the exact same Dr results...I mean to the "T" (pun intended). I'm not starting for a few more months due to I'm recovering from shoulder surgery but I'd be very interested in hearing how your cycle goes and any sides. From the homework I have done, there is nothing to worry about either. I, too, have read about good results from 300mg/wk. I understand the advice of 500wk but I'd rather start with the smallest dose that would work and see how the sides are. Jmho

Thanks guys I appreciate all of the replies. I may consider bumping the dose up a bit, but I was really wanting to avoid spending any more cash as I already have everything needed for this. And Camaroguru I will definitely keep this updated with results once I start.
